Ling & Louie's Asian Bar and Grill

We entered the restaurant about 3:30. There were 3 other tables with patrons, so it was not busy. After 10 minuets we realized we were not recognized yet. There was 2 managers, i assume standing at the kitchen door just standing and talking throughout the one hour we were there. The point i went to get the hostess, our server appeared and took our drink, appetizer and entree order. In about 5 minuets the appetizer and 1 entree came out. Seemed odd timing. I asked the hostess for our drinks please and they came immediately. After the appetizer and my friends entry were eaten, my entry came out. Still no server just a food runner. At this point we only saw her for order and when she brought water in the beginning. We did not see her or anybody until I needed the check. The dysfunctional part of this restaurant was one of the managers came over to the next table and asked how was the meal. He then walked past us and asked the other table. He then went back to his spot at the kitchen door and resumed talking to the other manager, i assume the other lazy manager. If I didn't know what servers and restaurant employees make I wouldn't have left a TIP but I did 20% . by the way I asked the hostess to remove the Frozen Mai Tai that tasted like soap. The Mongolian Beef was good, the Sea Bass was fishy which means it is not fresh. I would not recommend this place and suggest the ownership address the poor service. A waste of $105.00.

Food is always excellent and it did not disappoint. The service was a lot to be desired. We got our food and our waitress forgot about us afterwards. I had to go to the bar to get more water because she never came back and we couldn't get the attention of anyone else woeking.

I wouldn’t say it was outstanding or anything was overly delicious. It’s average Asian fusion plates.

We got several plates including gyoza, shoshito peppers appetizer, and pad Thai, and the boa tacos. All was good. We enjoyed the appetizers most.

Drinks menu is standard, and they have many options. I would say the drinks in the restaurant were mid. I would recommend going to the bar and getting something.

Service was great and helpful! They were attentive to the table.

First we asked the waiter, how is the fried calamari was and he looked at us like he did not understand,Then he could not answer questions about what was in a few dishes . Now the food comes and the portions were very small. I don’t care what it costs to go out to dinner and you know you are getting overcharged because you are in the casino, but I expect to be full after an appraiser and dinner . My wife who never ever finishes her meals ,actually did. Not good , we like spicy food, so we both ordered our meals extra spicy and hers was actually sweet, mine not spicy at all. I ordered the Mongolian beef, the portion size was pitiful and so small it looked like someone ate half of it before it got to me . We had high hopes for this place and was told it was good , but I would never return . So if you like a good size meals don’t go here , if you want to pick at your orders then this is the place for you .you also don’t get anything given to you are the table , no bread , chips , nothing . What you order is what you get and very little of it.o yea and you get one Walmart paper napkin for you dining experience. we gamble a little bit before we left and we actually stopped and ate again on the way home. It is sad that they have to rob you like this and that they actually have customers , they must give out free food vouchers as I can’t see anyone returning for a second time , I gambled on their food and lost . this was the Wild Horse Pass location.

Probably the worst customer service I've experienced from a Gila river casino property. Server needs way more training. Zero communication from the host. Extremely disappointed. Do yourself a favor and drive over to Honey and Vine and have a nice meal with actual customer service.

I’ve LOVED the Scottsdale location for years so I was incredibly disappointed with my experience at this one. Came in from the hotel pool for take out and immediately upon approaching the takeout window I wasn’t even greeted by the woman - just told I can’t be seated in what I’m wearing. I was getting take out…. Two seconds later security approached me with the same thing so I left to my room and placed an order online. My husband then went down to pick up. Food was not even started and we were told an item on the takeout menu “was not a takeout option” and no alternatives were suggested we had to figure it out ourselves. Completely unprofessional even for this level of restaurant. We then gave our alternatives which were full portions of the original item (a sharing tower) “not an option for takeout”. They THEN proceed to say one of them is currently unavailable. When the issue first came up we should have been given alternative solutions AND told that item was out of stock - not have to “figure it out on our own” and ask a million questions to know what was going on. Fully refunded our order and will never be coming here again. Actually never done that before and as a service worker myself I GET IT. But wow I’ve never received such awful service in my life. I hope these employees do better moving forward.

Whenever we crave really good asian cuisine we come here. Its fusion style so they mix it up with ingredients and flavors, but in the best way possible.

The Chef here really does a great job on taste and presentation. Each plate is ready for its T.V. close up on a cooking show.

The casino is nice and has a mini Vegas vibe to it. We just stroll right past all the gaming to hit the restaurants usually.

I have had several meals here over the past few years and it never disappoints. Try Ling's Meatloaf or Kung Pao Beef which are just a few of my favorites.

For an appetizer, try the Elote Corn with Popcorn. Crazy good! All the dishes are great so you can't go wrong here.

I came here for a weekend staycation. I was a little bit disappointed by the surrounding food options, but was pleasantly surprised by Ling and Louie’s. I found myself in the bar on three separate occasions and every time I was served by Cecille, the bartender. She has a cool shark tattoo. She always greeted me with a smile and we always had good conversation, she seemed genuine and thoughtful. The food was spectacular, but the service kept me coming back!

One of my favorite places to eat everything is so good but the window service is always the worst. No one is ever around around. You can't call and place an order to go either they tell you to go to the window. Disappointing when this place used to be great. The menu is also reduced at the window, only has a few things which is also disappointing

Poor experience, visited on a Monday at 6pm, was 10-12 tables of 2-6 each, 20+ mins for server arrival, 20+ mins for beverage order arrival, 40+ mins for food arrival. The first beverage delivered was foul, was then told the product is gone, when the check was delivered, my check went to a neighbor table and I got theirs, just a poor experience from start to finish, really missed the mark from every angle, not in a hurry to get back.
