Be careful! Only went here because I received a gift card and I did check the balance before coming to ensure it was good. I wouldn’t eat at this place otherwise. They don’t do gift cards at this location. If you speak to a manager about it, good luck! Our server was amazing, Tyler C, he was behind the bar and really tried to help with the gift card but wasn’t able to but really explained and was professional about the whole thing. The “manager” at this location, Carlos, super unprofessional and was demanding we pay our bill in a different method. Which wasn’t the issue from the beginning. It was all about them honoring gift cards that clearly have money on them… he came back several times demanding payment and stated he spoke with general manager “Jennifer” and stated that we needed to pay with different form. lol! Super sketchy! I know now why there are only 3 people eating in this restaurant. Do not go here! They truly don’t deserve anyone business acting like that.

Ordered food from their website doesn’t allow to select a side of Baja sauce called to add it on spoke with manager there and she said it wasn’t possible to do even if though I was willing to pay. It was my wife’s birthday and seemed like an easy request that this manager was not willing to accommodate

I was the first person served that day and my meal came out wrong. Ordered ground beef, got shredded. Couldn't chew it. 2 others in the restaurant and I had to finally get up after asking for a box, and go get it because they couldn't bring it to me or maybe they just forgot, I don't know. Wasn't a good experience. They gave 15% off because of the experience.

“She aint what she used to be” I grew up in Arizona and Macayo’s used to be amazing. Love going here as a kid in the late 80s and through the 90s the Macayo’s us Arizona natives once knew is long gone. The old dark themed locations closed or renovated into the generic corporate office look that all other businesses have adopted and the food is sub par. Quality and portion size has taken a backseat to pave the way for high prices. This location is the worst of them all.
Macayo’s I am truly saddened that your name no longer represents what it once did. My grandfather was a friend of Woody back in the day and I still have a picture of them both posed outside of the original Macayo’s location. My mom worked for you as a waitress in the 80s as well.
Sadly since the family sold the brand we will only see more and more generic mediocrity from Macayo’s.

Service was not that great. We had to remind the server everything twice. The server wasn't happy when we asked questions about the menu.

Went to the Goodyear location on a Tuesday. I don’t know when they changed the way they make their crispy fried tacos but we got tacos in a pre-deepfried shell with soupy shredded beef with tomatoes and onion in the beef. Worst food I’ve had there.
First time here we had a party of 5 , place was very clean and service was good ! However, the food was so so .. kinda of bland and the enchiladas with cartinas were not cook thru and thru , the carnitas was good but the tortillas were not cooked thru. Like it was assembled at time of order and briefly heated .. I was disappointed ☹️ however the green chili stew burrito was pretty flavorful. Nothing truly bad and would try again I just wouldn’t recommend the enchiladas.
