Saw Wicked here and had a fabulous time. The crew is kind and the theaters were comfortable
A movie hall with good sound effects and acoustics. Wish the seating was a bit more convenient. Some seats weren't reclining well. Moving watching experience was good
We attended the Wicked movie party, which is “interactive”, including bubbles and a glow stick. My 8 year old was singing along and asked to stop, then later was laughing and asked to keep noise to a minimum. She is very well behaved and was so excited for this movie. Then, we waited nearly 30 min for a refill after different runners said they’d get a runner for us. It was an unorganized mess for the money you spend there. This was our first time at Majestic, and probably our last. However, the movie itself was great!
If I could give this place no stars I would, while I have no concerns regarding the actual movie itself, I do have an issue with the obvious price gouging for mediocre food and the fact that they overcharged us for their automatic 20% tip on all orders.
Mine and my partner's food bill was $75.70 for a chicken sandwich, two non-alcoholic drinks (iced tea and a dr pepper), fish and chips, and a bowl of popcorn (with one refill of the drinks only which were free) they incorrectly overcharged our card for the 20% gratuity by 6.1% what should have been taken as the automatic charge should have been $15.14 instead it was very close to $20.00.
First off, that food was not worth the amount of money that was being charged, we are no strangers to a dinner/movie experience, as I had gone many times to a theater much like the Majestic where I am originally from, only the food there was infinitely better and comparably priced, it may have been expensive, but having fresh salmon on the menu, or handcrafted pizza. pasta; or burgers were well worth the money spent. I was the one who got my partner into the majestic back when it was called the Alamo.
I do not mind spending money on a good night out, but If I am to shell out over a hundred dollars for a movie and food, I want that food to be some of the best I have ever tasted, and if I am going to be overcharged on my tip, I would rather just pay that in cash. 10-10 go for the movie, but eat before, and only get the basics otherwise they will decide that 20% is actually 26-30%.
We really enjoy going to the theater for dinner, drinks and a movie. The service is always top notch, Keaton was our server and he was so kind and attentive.
This is a theater that literally instructs you to pull out your phone during the movie to order food or call a waiter. Dumbest thing I have ever seen.
Clean, comfortable chairs
Our server Keaton was very helpful with food and drink suggestions. This made for a great movie experience.
Quaint theatre, comfortable reclining chairs. Waiter brings food. Expect to spend more for seating and food. It was a bit warm, very little air circulation, that's why only 4 stars.
Haydn and his team are outstanding... the moment you walk through the front door someone is saying "Welcome in". If the movie is not ready.. no worries.. sit down at the bar and have a drink while you wait!
Colby was our server and he was so friendly!
They have an app you scan with your phone and then place your order.. food.... drinks... candy... you name it.. just order it on the app, and soon your server will bring your item.
I think Majestic may have brought us back to the movie experience... we have historically not been movie people... but the experience the Majestic staff brings..make the movie- going experience so much better!
Pizza.. if you are a spicy person... I would highly recommend the Spicy Spicoli! And of course, if you are a popcorn person.. get the Bottomless Popcorn... and have fun with the choices of toppings (Truffle Parmesan, Herb
Parmesan, Spicy Cheddar, White Cheddar, Churro)!

Seats don't recline and popcorn was cold, but some how the bowl they brought it in was hot..... seemed like day old popcorn placed under the warming lights!
Excellent setup through and through.
Nice place.. good food and comfortable seats
Terrible experience. They followed suit with other theaters around the world to do everything in their power to not let you watch the Sound of Freedom. Our whole row and probably more didn’t receive food or drinks - at a movie eatery.
Update: The manager reached out and we visited again. Second time was a better experience.
The staff is always friendly, especially Carlos. Service is prompt and the food is always delicious!
