Tortas Ahogadas Guadalajara was a great surprise! I was wanting to try something new for me and my kids, and the user reviews were good. I got a Carne Asada burrito, while my kids got the chicken quesadillas and rice and beans. WORTH THE MONEY!! The food was a bit late compared to when they said it would be ready for pickup, but the portions were generous and the cost was more than reasonable. And it was so yummy!! We will be going again...

We give Mercado Plaza 5.The food there is awesome,if your looking for some good Mexican food this is the place to go.They also have more little stores in the plaza we just got our taxes done there as well Korina is awesome she gives helpful information about your taxes and is fast.She also has her store in El Mercado and sells great gifts idea's and jewelry accessories as well as hair accessories.Go check out Mercado Plaza Del Sol you will love it there.

This place reminds me of many places I have visited in Mexico. The atmosphere is very basic with picnic benches and small tables, but the food is outstanding. I have asked the kitchen to prepare many different variations of basic dishes, and all were delicious and well made. Anyplace that makes fresh tortillas for each order is outstanding! There are many more items than tortas and the combination dishes are huge, yet every ingredient is fresh made. You place your order, get a number, and then the hostess calls out your number, you raise your hand, and she brings your food to your table. Very casual atmosphere with excellent food.
