Our server was very polite and they checked back often and helped my kids with their refills etc. I also like that the patio is dog friendly but it is just an empty spot between two suites with some metal tables. My main complaint is with the food and I was very disappointed. The wings had good flavor but they were under cooked. The fries were very strange in that some of them were very soggy and some were burnt. It's like they were combining several leftover orders. My kids got the party melt and said it was good but they were both still hungry. Sorry but for $17 you should be full but seems like shrinkflation is pretty common these days.

Was in the area and found this by maps restaurant near me!! Made a great choice. Family owned. Great Food. The pic is of the Mother Clucker. I had to Fun Guy Burger which was really good. I recommend the onion rings. The Cider was the Blueberry Spaceship Box. Definitely worth the stop!
Being unfamiliar with the area, we chose the Taphouse b/c it had burgers but more importantly, it was 5 star.. Food was FANTASTIC. Service was FRIENDLY and AWESOME. We highly recommend it!!!

We were craving a really good burger and decided to try this based on reviews. Unfortunately, we will not be back. If you want attitude and a bland burger then this place is for you.The brunette server barely greeted us and muttered to sit anywhere while tossing some menus on the counter. Not a great first impression. She only cracked a smile or was friendly when a person she knew walked in. She made sure to stop what she was doing to talk to this person who stopped in and left but couldn't manage to take care of the paying tables with a decent attitude.We found a table and waited. The blonde server was more polite and caring while she grabbed our drinks and interacted. The other server came back to take our order and treated us like we were a annoyance and had a condescending tone with a bad demeanor. When our poppers came out she dropped them at then end of our table and slide them down the table to us and left. Very unprofessional and good thing the plate didn't slide off on the ground or our lap. No one checked on us during our meal for the food quality or drink refills. We finally were able to get someone's attention for a drink refill and promptly asked for our check. The brunette server had no problem trying to say thank you and attempted to be nice while bringing our check, I assume to guarantee her tip. She ended up double charging us for drinks which I had to have the other server correct.The place was steady but not overwhelming. Maybe they need a third person to bus tables or help with refills so they don't look panicked. We noticed two young guys pop in and mention it was their first time while the burnette served them at the counter. They were barely interacted with were given attitude by the brunette. They looked around and seemed bored and both of them agreed to leave after one drink. The bathrooms were out of soap too.The meal was not that great to justify this service. The poppers were good and not extremely spicy as we were warned. The sweetness balanced out the spice at the end. They were overloaded with cream cheese which was nice. The wings, blue cheese, and fries were decent and tasty. The burger which we came for was a huge disappointment. You get this delicious description of the burger and then are served a bland patty with toppings. The meat itself had zero seasoning and the toppings didn't add to the taste.I am really unsure how this place is known for tasty burgers. I've dined at many family owned small businesses and this is not the service or food that goes along with high ratings.

This place is one of the top places I know, and I've had burgers from Washington to Florida west through south. We have been several times, and never had bad service. Wife says the cheese curds are some of her favorites. They have a large draft selection. I've actually taken several people who were just visiting to this little place, because it's so good.

Great little hidden gem ! I had the state 48 burger and it was very good , and the beach cruiser tap paired great with the meal ! Service was good and enjoyed the patio too! Definitely will go back again cheers ?

Saturday afternoon, lunchtime , busy place..almost left due to the wait but the lovely server/manager communicated with us and made it happen. We are very glad she did. Their sweet little patio was perfect. Burger was unique and tasty. Fried pickles and sweet potato fries were 5/5. We hope to be back next time we are in the area.
