Oily under cooked frozen fries, Mac and cheese was sour, the lemon slushy tasted bitter like dish soap. I would not call this southern food at all being from the south where soul food was a restaurant that had the most amazing food. This is more like junk food for the fancy foodies. Have tried this place several times and they never have the food I order. I gave up.

Nana’s Kitchen is an absolute vegan soul-food delight! Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, from the crispy chik’n sandwich with its perfect breading and spicy honey glaze, to the plant-based ribs that pulled apart like the real thing. The sides like mac & cheese, collard greens, baked beans, and fried “wangz” bring that comforting, home-cooked feel. Service is warm and welcoming, and even though it can get busy, the team does their best to keep things friendly and smooth. The cozy strip-mall setting adds to the authentic, no-frills charm. If you're craving hearty, delicious vegan food that satisfies like the original, this place won’t disappoint!

I loved going here they had the BEST vegan philly cheese steak in Arizona. It was very hard to find good food here in Arizona coming from the east coast 4 years ago. I was very disappointed when I went in to get my monthly cheese steak to realize they had changed it. The sauce on the cheese steak was the best part. To completely remove it instead of making it an option to not get it on the sandwich was not a good business decision in my opinion. It was dry and the onions, peppers and fries weren't the same either. I was very unhappy because I drove an hour across town just for that particular item. I would hope they consider the sandwich with sauce or without as an option. I won't be returning if they decide to keep the sandwich the way it is currently.

As a real southerner, I was disappointed with the flavors and the portion sizes. It tasted like too much sugar got dumped into everything. This is ridiculously priced for such mediocre food and portion sizes.

I would eat here on the regular even if I wasn't vegan. I have taken several non-vegans here and they loved it. Amazing food and service

Sadly, I won’t be coming back here. The service was pretty much nonexistent, the food was way over-seasoned, and the place felt unfinished, which was a letdown since I really wanted to love it.

Love vegan soul food and it’s not meant to be healthy, but the oil to food ratio is bordering on oil winning that competition. Less oil and you’d be able to taste the food better and not have to worry about a heart attack right after Sauces on everything are amazing. Offer some other veggies on the menu. I know it is comfort food/southern food but maybe more items not fried

Incredible vegan food!!! I wanted to try everything on the menu. Everything was seasoned so well and I can not stop thinking about the fries. I also got a root beer float, all vegan. Philly cheese, and wing platter pictured as well.
