Sunny day we sat on the patio and split the club sandwich. Nice time, good service and beautiful view. Just be aware and cautious of the birds! They are savages, don't leave food un attended, Hahahaha.

Just went here for drinks prior to a wedding at the site. The bartenders were nice but one of them had no idea how to make a bourbon Manhattan on the rocks. What I eventually got did not taste anything like a Manhattan.

I love the atmosphere of the grille. Tvs, laid back, golf course views, etc. The food and drinks are usually fresh and taste good. Decent prices for food and drinks. However, the multiple times I've been in the service is always subpar. Just a few examples: Ignored by one bartender for 20 mins, after placing an order with the other bartender, with no apology once he got to me and I was playing golf so that caused a big delay. One waitress when sitting at a table with others kept walking by and didn't offer service and then when asked nicely by us she rudely stated " the bartender does this half of the restaurant" and the bartender failed to tell our table that when we walked in and sat down or come over. Didn't offer to get the bartender or anything.

Went for lunch. First sandwich ordered they were out of. Then ordered a burger. They had that but no fires or onion rings. Just small bags of chips. Ok with chips. Server comes back and says we are out of those chips. Service wasn't much better than lack of food.

I'm sad to admit the Ocotillo Grille is subpar in the hospitality business. We went twice -wanted to love it the grounds are beautiful. On arrival you have no idea how to get served or seated to eat or drink. One time it was about 2pm and the other time it was about 11:30. We also golfed the day we arrived at 11:30. We do like the golf shop staff. In the Grille area everyone is "too busy" no one acknowledges your presence nor welcomes you in. The management needs to retrain. It would have been huge to have had a food runner or a waitress point us to a table or hand us a menu. When we asked "we are wondering what's best for you - should we order from the bar and sit down or can you help us?" It appeared this was below her and the reply was something like "whatever you want". But not in a welcoming way at all. Good luck to management trying to make this place welcoming and a place one would like to eat or drink.

I took a group of lady friends for lunch. I had a spinach cranberry pecan salad and asked for the dressing to be put on the side. When I got my salad it was already on the salad and when I started eating all the spinach was wilted and slimy. Several of my friends who had the fish tacos had chips along the side, which were stale. I'm very sad that I suggested this restaurant .

The best thing to know about Ocotillo Grille is the dynamite location and rock-star view. We love to hang out on the huge outdoor patio, enjoying the sights and sounds of lush fairways, greens and gardens, a lazy river, and waterfalls surrounding us. Golfers are heading in after 9 or 18 holes, while we observe their chips, putts and celebratory high-fives. Whether you relax outside under a brightly-colored umbrella or inside the hip dining room full of windows, the food is great, the drinks are refreshing. Come to the OG for relaxation, or for drinks and a meal after the golf round.

Have celebrated my birthday at this place for at least 15 years! They always took reservations for my family and I for the patio seating with unbrellas until this year when we were forced to eat inside the building! I was quite disappointed to say the least! I realize you changed ownership, however I feel that you shouldn't try fixing something that is not broken! If they are not willing to take our reservation for the patio next March, we will be seeking a different place to have my luncheon! They also don't have the Reuben sandwich on their menu any more! It was so...good! You need to bring it back!!
