Most disgusting fish and chips I’ve ever had. Would give zero stars if I could ! I ordered the fish and onion rings, both were rock hard. Fried in what seemed to be old grease ! The fish was so tough and overcooked with no flavor, onion rings also overcooked. I was so disappointed because I normally eat at Pete’s but there aren’t any in the east valley. Stick to what you know save your money. Food is overpriced and horrible!

I am az native and I've never been to Pete's or Pirated fish N chips that I didn't like. I guess there's a first time for everything I ordered the 5 piece fish N Chips and it was absolutely horrible. The fish was not fresh tasted like it was cooked old grease. The fish was hard to tear into pieces and the fries were soggy and limp. The only thing I enjoyed was my dr.pepper. Save your money and go find a Pete's fish and chips...not worth your money or disappointment ? ??

I have been coming to this place for years. Most of the one star reviews on here are very far from the truth. The staff is friendly the food is amazing and the sauce is the best. If your looking for Red lobster then go there cause this is the South Side Red lobster!!! If your from Chandler then you know how good this place is. ?? ??

Shrimp and fish were cooked in old oil. Disgusting. The outside was dark and inside wasn’t even done. Customer service was hardly existent also. First and last time trying. I’ll stick with Pete’s.

This location has horrible customer service The drive thru was not working, after sitting in line for 10 minutes , we got to the window to place our order and they told us to go back around. We proceeded to let the staff know that we waited for someone to respond to the drive thru but they would not! I guess you get what you pay for! The “manager” Jesus would not take our order and refuse to service us without going back around I actually like the food here but will NEVER patronize this location ever again

Bad customer service . handed me my food with no bag . The fish was sqare shaped . They sprinkled salt on it and it was hard as a rock fries were soggy . My wife and I had to throw the whole order away. ?? I don't recommend this place to no one.

EDITED MY REVIEW BELOW:We get food from here every friday. Very pleased with the shrimp, which I had for the very first time last week. Taste great and a very good size and great quantity. The only thing I suggest is that they cook their French fries longer. They are not cooked long enough. So when we get home with the food we throw the french fries in the oven to cook just a little bit longer and they turn out very well. I noticed on other reviews people commented on the fries also. Other than that it's a great place to eat. You can tell that by how busy they are.Well I have to lower my review on this place. Went there today and the shrimp was overcooked that I could barely chew the sides of it it was so hard. The fish was overcooked also. I asked for the fries to be a little more done. I should have never asked and heated them up at home myself. They were hard as a rock by the time I got home. The quality has definitely gone down each week. The sauce they have is different and helps cover the taste now
Parking: There are only a few spots behind the building to park. But if there are several people in the Drive-Thru you can't get to those spots. There's parking on the street.

Well my family and I have always enjoyed eating at pirates until today there food has changed and not for the better the fries did not taste good there fish omg there fish was the best until today it was awful it tasted like cheap cooking oil I'm sorry it just wasn't good I'm hoping today was just a temporary change.

Go to walmart and buy some frozen fish sticks and crinkle cut fries. That's what your getting. The shrimp was 75% breading.

After many times of driving by and wanting to give this place a shot, we did. The Fish & Chips were just okay. The chips (fries) were honestly not good, extremely soggy. However, the fish itself was tasty! We also tried the fish sandwich and probably would get that again, if we were to come back. But overall, we were disappointed with our food. The best part about Pirates is the prices. Was honestly shocked compared to other places in the Valley. Probably because it's cash only but still, nice surprise.
