Maybe I should have gotten something else but the classic ramen is just salt water with very little actual umami flavor that you get from actual tonkotsu ramen. You can use the premade pork stock at Asian grocery stores for the same result as what I got here. The noodles were undercooked and doughy. Since when does ramen come with shredded lettuce? I was the only one in there at around 8, and was made to order take out instead of simply being served in a normal bowl. They remove the trash cans so you can’t toss the trash inside and have to take it with you. Credit to the 2 teenage girls who were understaffed and trying their best.If you want to eat much better tonkotsu ramen at a cheaper price, go to Daruma.

The flavors in this ramen were very inconsistent. The bamboo shoots, pork, naruto, and soft boiled eggs had good flavoring. However, the gluten free noodles were terrible, the nori tasted super fishy, their jalapeños tasted like dirt, the cilantro was barely chopped up, all the toppings were cold and cooled down the ramen, and the broth seriously lacked any good flavor (I had the spicy miso). They also charge $2 for a single soft boiled egg in your ramen. In total I was charged almost $22 for a single person to get ramen with a soft boiled egg and a soda. I will not be back unfortunately and my search for a good gluten free ramen continues.

Super cute and yummy ramen. I did a create your own with lots of veggies, teriyaki chicken, and seasoned egg toppers. My husband did the traditional tonkatsu and we enjoyed them both. The gyoza were pretty good too ?

I absolutely love this place. The broth is always consistent and flavorful. Except the last time, the noodles was super overcooked, it liked melting in my mouth. It was disppointed a little bit. I'll be back for another chance.

Got one of each of the two chef specials at their kiosks. I wish there were more details descriptions of what all went into each of the dishes. Feels like an odd UX choice to not have them. Service in general is a little apersonal but that's not necessarily a bad thing if they're going for an Izakaya-like model. Atmosphere was pretty good, though. I enjoyed the mural and decor. I preferred the original ramen bowl to the angry chicken, which was both a little sour and a little spicy for me right then.

Not A F.

I knew from the beginning that I shouldn't be expect much, but it was worse than I thought. The ramen at this place is terrible. It's sad because initially when you step in, it's clean and well lit despite a fast food ambience, and I thought, "maybe it won't be so bad". They had an interesting concept of ordering on tablets, so that you can get exactly what you want. But then, it's just starts sliding real fast from there. First, the price point. I already have a problem with ramen places charging as much as they do. Even in Japan, ramen is a cheap/affordable option. And since it's a competitive business, it's not uncommon for cheap ramen places to be featured in the news (about the salient of $7 in the US). Most places I've gone to range from about $12-$15 a bowl. This place charged a little over $17, which is more than most true-ramen restaurant style places. Secondly, the food. The look of it wasn't bad, but from the first bite I knew that I'd been deceived. I got the Miso ramen, why in the world did it have a peanut butter like taste? And the noodles were limp. Not overcooked, just lacking any bite to them. The egg was cold, the menma tasted old and stringy. The only thing that even came close was the chaashu, but even that was oversalted. It genuinely confused me, because in every way it seems like a place to make a quick buck off of people who have never had ramen or noodles before. But then why place it in an Asian Plaza, where most people know good noodles? I guess some things will just always remain a mystery to me.

Closed early when they said they close at 9 pm.

Cute sit-down place with nice decor. I found my ramen a little spicy but it was my first time having it. I would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but they were playing back-to-back religious songs which I find annoying.

Absolutely loved the interior of this place, and my son was particularly impressed with the incredible artwork. It's a bit challenging for us to evaluate the service since we opted for takeout. As first-time visitors, we were still navigating through the menu, so I can't provide a comprehensive assessment. The dish I ordered was decent, but I believe I can make a better selection on our next visit. My son, on the other hand, adored the freedom of customizing his Ramen to his liking.","The ambiance indoors was a hit with my son, especially the remarkable artwork. Since we decided to get takeout, it's a bit difficult to judge the service aspect. Being newcomers to this establishment, we were still trying to figure out the menu, hence our evaluation might not be fully accurate. Although what I ordered was average, I feel like I can make a more satisfying choice next time. My son loved the fact that he could personalize his Ramen by picking the ingredients he wanted.

Ramen hood offers the best mix between barrier of entry, customizability, price, and taste for ramen in the valley in my opinion. You walk in and customize your ramen on a kiosk and someone brings your ramen to you. It won't be mind blowing in terms of taste, but it's fast and simple and on par with a lot of ramen in the valley. If you're looking for a simple and easy outing for food and aren't looking for a life changing experience or customer service, Ramen Hood is great. If you do want a classic dining experience, maybe look elsewhere.

I was very unsure I wanted to visit because of the reviews on this place. Luckily I had a friend who disagreed with the poor reviews so I gave it a try. So very glad I did! Ignore the bad reviews cuz this place was amazing! My ramen was cooked perfectly and it was delicious! Service was fast and friendly! Definitely 5 stars!

Walked in and they have tablets for you to order from. Could be confusing if you've never ordered ramen before since ingredients don't have explanations. There were also a few chefs options to choose from, but no explanation of what ingredients were in them. The pork protein was super thin and looked like a piece of undercooked bacon. It tasted ok, but looked unappealing. My daughter's friend got a ramen with no toppings except for the included protein and it took off $2. My daughter got the ramen with only an egg and pork. They upcharge $2 for egg, but didn't automatically take off the extra $2 for no veggie toppings, so it means we actually paid $4 for no veggies and an egg. They should fix that. I only noticed after my daughter ordered and when I brought it to the employees attention, she just stated, "uh yeah". Ok then. Anyway, as we sat there, I noticed the music was probably on some sort of satellite channel because there were swear words in the lyrics I hate when I go places and this is a thing. I had my kid and her friend with me. Do better people. So disappointing.
