I’ve been a loyal customer of Rubio's, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. During my visit, I had an argument with the manager over a coupon that was supposed to be honored, but they refused to accept it. The way this was handled was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful, especially since it took place in front of other customers and children.
I’ve seen this same manager during my previous visits, and it’s frustrating to witness such poor leadership. If a business offers coupons, they should honor them; it’s a basic expectation of good customer service. If they’re struggling financially and can’t afford to honor a simple $5 discount, perhaps they shouldn’t issue coupons at all.
I wouldn’t mind paying full price, but these little savings are appreciated. I hope Rubio's can address this situation and improve their customer service, as it’s disheartening to see a once-great establishment decline in this manner.

Rubio's has been a staple in my life for the last 30 plus years. And no two are alike when it comes to service and food quality. This one by the Harkins theater in Chandler is one of the best things to a great management and service staff. Like the value of the beer battered shrimp to Taco plate.
