I lived in Los Angeles for 30+ years, so I am rating the place comparing to similar places I had been to in LA.Santan has good variety of Tasty Beers with good pricing. But, the pricng/quality/quantity of the Foods are falling way below the Los Angeles food scene standard I was accustomed to. A Gouda Mushroom Burger with Veggie Patty is nearly $20 before tax; no, this was not an over-the-top gorgeous gourmet burger that is Instagram/picture-worthy. If I were you, I would not order the Fried Cheese Curds, which costs $10.25+tax, but the food quantity/quality/appearance, to me, worth $4. The Beer Battered Fries was $7.25, but I feel they should charge $5, and there was hardly any "Beer Batter" on the Fries. The ButterMilk Onion Rings looked Good, but the Onions were way too tough/raw.Well, to be honest, 9 out of 10 restaurants I have been to so far in the Phoenix proper are just not good, and most of the restaurants (even WholeFoods) offer Coffee that is either "salty" or like that of Hot Burnt Charcoal Water with no real Coffee Berry flavor at all. Also, AZ's grocery and restaurants and home maintenance pricing is over all 14 - 40% hgher than in Los Angeles. How come?

The waiter we had was very friendly, very nice atmosphere, but the food was not what i thought it would be. Came here a couple weeks ago and wasn’t going to write a review but hopefully my review will change the way this establishment prepares their food. The green chile pork Mac skillet had 0 pork in it, i thought for a second maybe our waiter thought i said hold the pork. It was literally just mac and cheese, very disappointing. Girlfriend got the southwest fried chicken, it was honestly 75% breading wrapped around a small chicken fillet. I understand this place is probably more for the beer experience and not the food. But you can at least make the food half way decent. Both dishes had great flavor, but virtually 0 protein. My pork skillet had 0 pork in it. If it’s going to be pork flavored mac n cheese they need to clearly state that. I won’t bad mouth this place, but i might say “the food is not filling, but I’m sure their beer is great”.

We cannot comment on the food as we did not eat. However, we are four Canadians in for a week of fun in the sun, baseball, drag racing, hockey etc. Stopped in for some late night cocktails and it was amazing. Miss Kate behind the bar was so experienced with all the home made spirits and home made malts. We were treated so well. Five stars to Kate for being so beautiful inside and out. Great place to attend. Well worth the visit if you are downtown Chandler

There were only about 4-5 Brussel sprouts in our appetizer, mostly just loose leaves. Otherwise food was good, environment is good.

I was in AZ on a business trip, and we stopped here because it was close to our hotel - maybe a 10 minute walk.My wife and 6 y/o son flew in the day after me to visit some local family on spring break; we live in a different time zone, so my son was getting cranky by the time we sat down for dinner. Our waiter, Oscar (called himself "the grouch"), was awesome. He managed to turn my son's mood around for the remainder of the evening.I told the manager that Oscar is great. I hope he gets some commendation for going above and beyond with his excellent customer service. The food and service were great. I'll go back again next time I'm in town.

I was so disappointed today with the food. I used to think San Tan Brewery made a great burger. The fries and chicken sandwich tasted like the oil was REALLY old. Disgusting!
Really enjoy SanTan Brewing. Beer is outstanding (also have cocktails), atmosphere is great, and food is delicious. They have a large menu, including brunch. We weren't too hungry and the half sandwich and salad hit the spot. The Cubano was delicious! Great outdoor seating and indoor/outdoor bar. TVs all over, so good for watching the games. Service was great... all employees we interacted with were super friendly. Fun spot for a relaxing Sunday.Highly recommend for great food, atmosphere, and friendly people.

I came here randomly about 10 years ago and have been hooked every since. Every year during my Spring Training trip, I make a point to stop multiple times since & it has never disappointed. The only downside is that I cannot get their fabulous beer in Wisconsin.
