Change in management/ownership are noticeable. The cool almost swanky vibe has changed to a mellow dinner club type yet with unfinished walls where high top tables were removed. The menu is smaller as well. Many staples still on it but other great dishes are gone. We reserved a high top and the hostess first brought us to a low table in the back corner...not busy at the time and many other tables available. When we asked for a different one, the eye roll was quite loud. It has been a favorite for years. The sea bass and grilled Caesar are still amazing! We will let them hopefully work a few things out before trying it again.

Great food, service and music. Was sad to learn that it is going to soon change to an Italian restaurant. There are so many Italian places now. This was our last visit. Sorry to see it go but that's life .

Online menu doesn’t match the instore menu. The sea bass is $62 for a thin slab of fish. The crème brûlée was $14, had no real vanilla bean and came in a tiny ramekins. Grossly overpriced for what you get and the quality is only very average. The ambience and live band were great.

We came for restaurant week. The food was amazing. Great taste. The Torre Di Mare was original and great for an appetizer. You definitely have to try the duck. The portion size was perfect. Their tiramisu was light and delightful. We would not hesitate to go back.

There was barely anyone there but service was slow. We had to flag down a different waiter to order our main entres and more drinks. In the one dish, the asparagus was tough and the bass was very salty. The clam chowder was carrot forward and clams were almost nonexistent. The salad was delicious but the dressing was too much and would suggest putting it on the side. Drinks were yummy.

Great experience as always. Delicious food, wonderful staff. Mike is the best manager!! They go out of their way to make you feel like family.

This place is a hidden gem. My wife surprised me with dinner here and she hit it out of the park. I had the sea bass served over pesto infused whipped potatoes and served with a vegetable melody. I must say everything was perfect. The sea bass cooked perfect, and held the smoke from the mesquite grill really nice. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and those potatoes, I don’t even know what to say, except I need to go back. The cast away cocktail had me intrigued as a whisky aficionado. I ordered it just out of curiosity, and ordered a second because it was delicious. I’m going back. I told my wife on the way home, next time we are taking people out to eat and they like fish, this is where we are going. Also the service was exceptional and very knowledgeable.

Enjoyed a nice evening out with friends filled with good food and drinks. The live music was a bonus. The trio playing on Saturday were extremely talented musicians. We definitely will be back.

I was so lost in the moment the night I visited that I complete forgot to leave my review as I had much intended. Seeing as I have a reservation this evening, it is only right to share how my first visit went.

I was blown away! I made a reservation online, in the special notes I requested to have a table for two near the band. That’s all I stated, not mentioning the exact reason why. We arrived at 6:30 PM, I was surprising my boyfriend for his birthday. Everyone was so friendly and faces donning smiles when we arrived and we in fact had a table right in front of the band 🤍 I shared then with the staff that my boyfriend is legally deaf, although he can hear just with some difficulty. Sitting near the band allows him to feel the vibrations from the band and when most hear the music, he feels and hears it.

I can tell you two impressions that we left Sea & Smoke… #1 they have some of the best Fried Rice!! We have since tried many other places, but by far Sea & Smoke is still our favorite! My boyfriend drinks Crown Apple. Sea & Smoke didn’t have it, so they walked right over the The Livingroom and made sure he had his drink. The food, the staff were all impeccable! All went above and beyond and that is so rare these days.

#2 The band- New Groove Jazz Trio 🔥 Wow, just wow! Beautiful. My heart was so happy just watching my boyfriend “feel” the music. You can tell the band was honored when he gave them that compliment. They played “Happy Birthday,” for him.

Thank you for making what could have been a mediocre night… MAGICAL ✨

Sea and Smoke is a hidden gem. The food is outstanding. Yes a smaller menu but enough choices to please everyone. Portions are exceptional and in some cases you'd up taking home leftovers. Tuesday night is date night and for $50 each you will get an appetizer, entree and dessert (which is almost a meal in itself.) The waitress Addy was so friendly and you felt like you'd had know her for a long time. The manager Michael was so personable and wanted to make sure your experience was exceptional. The salads you could share between a couple and the cocktails are very good and different. We asked for 2 different glasses of wine, a red and a white, and were pleased with what Addy brought. On this day (Tuesday) a gentleman was playing the sax and it was a very pleasant evening as the music wasn't too loud so conversations could still take place. We understand there might be some changes in the future with owners, so hopefully Sea & Smoke will still be maintaining their wonderful food selections and ambiance that we enjoy!

Awhile back I celebrated my Anniversary here & the food & service was outstanding! My husband recently took me back for my birthday & as soon as I walked in the atmosphere was not what I remembered. I ordered the bass & it came semi raw & center was cold. I asked that they put my fish in the microwave for 1 minute instead the chef decided to grill it & left a burnt grill taste on my fish 🤬 The clam chowder was OK but the old fashion was so outstanding that I had a second one! 🥰
I understand the original owner sold & it's under new ownership. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it because the food does not measure up to the cost of the meal.
