Dinner last night with a friend who wanted Mexican food, Serranos fit the bill. Our waiter Dean was top notch! Pray he has employment at one of the other locations.

The price and the food are out of this world. Robert is the one of the best bartender I have seen in a long time and he served our table. Made us feel like we had been going there for years even though it was our first time at Serranos and we loved it!!! Wish it was here longer!!! Very very good service & food.

Visiting ASU for a day and decided to try what was said to be the oldest family owned restaurant in Chandler. Food was terrific and Ryan took very good care of us. My wife is very particular about margaritas and this one was about perfect...not too sweet. Bring your appetite, the portions are huge even by our usual Texas standards. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars on the food was that the black beans had a little too much tomato flavor for my taste. If there were half stars I'd put 4 1/2 stars for food. Well worth a visit.

So long Serranos Mexican restaurant in chandler. A staple from the beginning of downtown chandler. (The building and family owners at least)To be fair the building is a little long in the tooth so something modern is needed especially with the influx of people moving into Arizona.To the food. Excellent food. Big portions, little high on price except all tables come with a bean dip and salsa, which is very cool and authentic.Anyhow thanks to a great restaurant and the history behind the business. Farewell until we meet in another location.

When we heard Serranos was going to be closing, my wife and I were devastated. Typically, we enjoy the place. Last couple of visits have been mediocre, but nothing like last night. Our waiter was atrocious. It took over an hour to receive our food and to even flag the waiter down for his attention for anything like a refill, or even our bill. I refused a box to go because I didn't have an additional thirty minutes to wait. But the real kicker of the night is when my wife went home and spent the entire night on the toilet. Root cause, the dinner. Because when I woke up this morning, I am also stuck on the toilet. Think it might've been the salsa that tasted like dirty sink water. Either way, kinda glad they're closing now.

Took my wife for her birthday to have dinner. The food was very blan and tasteless the drink she ordered was watered down. Service was ok. This place has gone down hill. Will not be coming back here.

Been coming here for 28 years and as of this week would have given 5 ?. They just changed the cheese they use and it's not for the better. Please Serranos don't cut corners on this. Your restaurant has been a family favorite for a long time and we noticed the change right away. Thanks to Sylvia and Joshua for being awesome.
