COME HERE!!!! Honestly it could be more clean, but the sweet treats are perfect as usual. Definitely get the fruity pebbles and matcha combo on top. Take advantage of the fact that’s it’s free! Don’t miss it. It’s the perfect sweet fix after a long day of shopping in the plaza. Get the custard with matcha, not the nutella, because it doesn’t go well. Nice staff, somewhat clean bathroom+seating.

The open kitchen allows you to witness the food preparation process, with all staff wearing masks and gloves, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene. The kitchen is immaculate, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, even engaging in conversations with my young daughter. The food quality is excellent, especially the delightful sweetness of the ice cream. Additionally, they are currently hiring, as indicated by the notices at the entrance. Highly recommended!

Typically when buying desert for a family I spend well over $30. At SomiSomi I spend about $10 including tip. I appreciate that their packaging for the taiyaki shows you the order of your fillings! Our favorites are the taro and Nutella. Can’t wait to try them with cheese! I also really like the self serve kiosk. It is nice to just walk in and quickly order if the staff is filling an order or with another customer.

Glad to see that somisomi has made its way to Arizona. Came on a Sunday evening parking was limited after circling the lot I found a spot. I normally get the upside down ahboong with ube and Nutella. This time around I came for the custard taiyaki. For it being only one employee working the taiyaki's came out quick and warm! There is plenty of room inside.
Great experience. Got my order within 5-10 minutes and it was delicious. The Oreo soft serve is really good and you can add a few toppings like Oreo crumbs and fruity pebbles and you also get a strawberry or macaron to add. The fish waffle is delicious with the custard, also got a pack of 5 of the crispy waffles and they’re simple and delicious. The prices are great and clean environment with not much seating.

Absolutely delicious! I had to try taiyaki after watching My Hero Academia. My friend took me here, and I adore it. Kind servers, super cute place, but nothing compared to the amazing crunch and sweetness of the taiyaki. All the ice cream is great, too. Tried taiyaki at a couple other places since when out of town, but it couldn't hold a candle to SomiSomi! My top favorite place to grab dessert now.

Delicious! Even the employees for the 99 ranch market rave about this place. All ice cream flavors and fish are tasty. The fish are made fresh so they are warm when you receive them. The only downside, it can take a bit. There is often one employee making everything so you have to use the iPad to order when they are busy. Customers often come in waves and if you happen to arrive after a few groups you can wait a bit, but it just means your dessert will be fresh!

This review is for the amazing young lady, who was working at around 9pm on December 19, 2023. We got there pretty close to their closing time (9:30pm), there were already 2-3 groups of customers waiting to get their food. And a few more came after us.This girl not only showed a friendly attitude but also kept the food to its high standard . She gave the food to everyone with a smile. She had great customer service, something I rarely see nowadays even at high-end restaurant.Btw, the fish cake and ice cream were good too.
