Their pastrami meat is too thick and chewy. Their pasta salad is bland. People at the bar are too noisy, yelling and cheering too loud for my taste while watching sports. Didn't feel like a family restaurant, more of a bar atmosphere. Not for me.

Phoenix Metro has a great diversity of culture. We recently relocated to Phoenix with about 2 years of residency. On Sunday I donated blood at a blood drive at the Performing Arts Center in Mesa. We were given vouchers for PGA WM Open and free pizza at Streets of New York Pizza. We stopped in at the Chandler restaurant on our way home. We presented the voucher, which we then upgraded to Combination Pizza. The pie was superb. It reminded me of two things. First, a native of Upstate New York, with heritage being German/Italian, I experienced great ethic foods. That being said there was a pizza house near Sryacuse that we would frequent for our choice of Pizza. Second, my wife and I toured Europe in 2018, visiting several cities in Italy. The food in Italy is always fresh, where you have a sense fruits and vegetables were picked that day, pasta was made fresh, as well as the meats and cheese. So if you want to experience fresh pizza pie without traveling to New York or Italy give Streets of New York a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Went to watch football with friends. Bar / Restaurant was clean, plenty of seating, service was good and the food was good also. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. Plenty of televisions to watch your favorite team!
Jamie and Macy are the only factor keeping this establishment a perfect restaurant. The fact is Ryan is a poor example of a general manager.Simple manager tasks are not met. For example, not ordering the proper amount of food to prepare the menu dishes. Not ordering beer kegs which as a result draft beer runs out on a Football Sunday…..lost customers. Please continue to patronize Streets of New York only for the awesome work Jamie, Macy, John and TJ do. The staff provides a “Cheers” atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Because the staff provides a “ Cheers” atmosphere, my 3 year old grandson love the “Pizza.”

Over the years, we jumped from one pizza restaurant to another. But, we've never found another pizza that we love as much as Streets of New York. We're now done with the inconsistencies of others, and Streets of New York is now our go-to for the best pizza.

So I have Been coming here for about over a year now give or take. So the food is just amazing all the time. Never had a problem with the pizza as in it being burnt or undercooked. The sauce is really tasty and delicious. It's actually my favorite tasting sauce from any pizza place. The passion bread with marinara sauce is really delightful. Really nice crunch on the passion bread. I did order their wings one time, but in my personal opinion didn't care for them too much. Not that they're bad or anything it's just a different style of hot wings I'm not used to. More of a heavy pepper taste. I would rate them 3/5. Still good just a style I'm not used to.I would have rated them a perfect 5 stars, but the only problem I have here is probably the customer service. Been coming here for about over a year and I never feel welcomed at this place. You stand there for seems like forever with everybody staring at you as soon as you walk in the door. Sometimes the staff takes a little while to greet you, seat you, or to just even notice that somebody is standing there. I can see why people just leave after standing there for 5 minutes in front of the door awkwardly and nobody greeted them.Overall love this place; love the pizza. If they just worked on the feeling welcomed part, then we would have a home run. pizza's so good I'm still going to come around and deal with the weird energy.
