This place was referred to me by a good friend of mine over two years ago and ever since then I have been stoping by at least once a month. Definitely one of my favorite taco places.
This location is not great. Usually the tacos are very good but not here. I got one green and one red salsa for six tacos. They charge if you want more. I spent $22 and it was definitely not worth it. I think maybe the other locations are better. This one is not very good. Might be worth driving to Mesa.

Great selection of tacos, burritos and other Mexican food. We tasted 4 different meats and all were good. We had heard good things from friends and family about coming here, both from here in Arizona and from Texas. They all were right!Parking: Strip mall parking lot, lots of space.

I've lived just up the street from Tacos Chiwas for years and I didn't know this gem was right on my doorstep! The street tacos are so delicious. The carne asada was so tender and moist and the Al Pastor was flavorful! They come on one tortilla, which is a switch from the standard two tortillas, but it is a flour tortilla rather than from corn; a welcomed change! There's a good amount of seating both indoors and outside. A few poster or painting adorn the walls, but it's a basic hole-in-the-wall that offers excellent food.

Very tasty little taco spot with it's own regional twist. Absolutely worth a try for their tortillas and gorditas alone - you're not going to find this style in many other joints.Largely unassuming restaurant otherwise, a few small tables to sit at. Well kept and clean.Will definitely stop by when I'm in the area again
Delicious gorditas de chile rojo& Rajas con queso.But my favorite is the tacos de tripas! Really crispy brings back so many memories of younger days when our Tata would make them in the pit in his backyard extra crispy, yummmmmm!!! Best tacos de tripas in town!!

A few months ago I found this place, every time I go I order burrito de rajas and when I say always, yes it means always!!Ps my children went to bring me a burrito and the girl who was there said, there is none and we have never had rajas, ?And even annoying I answer to my childrenOf course I will return for my rajas burrito!!!Listen well, little girl who you said they have never had... I will be back??

Very delicious tacos! High quality juicy meat that’s marinated well and cooked to perfection. The corn tortillas is the best. Green and hot sauce is very flavorful too. My go to place for really good tacos:)
