Great service. Food was excellent. A little disappointed no AZ wines by the glass since I wanted to try it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I will be back.
A wonderful evening at The Hidden House. We took two couples for their first experience with the establishment and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the drinks were perfect and the waiter (Colin) was attentive and very knowledgeable.
The Hidden House is a gem. The seating areas are quaint. They have a great music selection that's not too loud. The menu is amazing. The entree portions are just right. The oreo mousse dessert is delicious! The staff is friendly and duper accommodating.
Our waiter was so knowledgeable about everything on the menu and gave us outstanding recommendations for drinks and food.....he was spot on! Beautiful atmosphere to dine in. Will definitely take friends who come to visit us to The Hidden House!
Brought my husband here for the first time for his birthday. We had a drink at the bar before eating. Bartender asked us if we were here for a special occasion, said yes, birthday. Service was a little slow, but friendly. Hostess who took us to our table was literally sprinting, had to almost run to keep up with her and mind you, there are heavy glass doors and you have to walk through an outside paver area (in heels!). We ate in the back area, which was beautifuly chic decorated. Our server was okay, again asked if it was a special occasion, but seemed a little p'od when I ordered the pasta without the Waygu meat (I'm vegetarian and had called ahead to ask if food could be modified). The dish even without the meat was fantastic, seasoned just right and good amount. Husband had the scallops, which were good too. A roving lady (assume a manager) saw me without wine (I had ordered with our server but was waiting....and waiting)...and brought me a glass, again asking if we were celebrating. Replied again, yes, a birthday. At the end of the meal, I assumed we would get some kind of birthday dessert, but nothing. Little disappointing. Why did everyone keep asking us if we were celebrating? I can afford a piece of cake, it's just a little detail you would expect after being asked so many times. Also, when the check came I was surprised they did not adjust the price of my pasta dish - NO Waygu beef, just pasta. Almost $40 for a plate of pasta, hmmm. Overall, the food and atmosphere were excellent, but when you're paying $200 for dinner for two and want a special experience, it fell short.
Ate in the back room. Everything was great except for the flies that were a bother.
The menu was changed since we were there last. Now everything is a la carte and more expensive. Didn't realize that (and the server said nothing) until our meals were brought. No veggies, no starch - just meat or fish. We probably won't be back which is sad because the food is delicious.
Quality shrimp- based fishes
Above average food. A bit pricey for what you get. Nice surroundings and atmosphere. Service could use improving.
Waitress was excellent- attentive but not annoying. My French 75 was perfect and my friends gin and tonic also well made. The food was ilunderwhelming and expensive. My friends crab cake was basically crab fluff and lots of breading. My scallops and shrimp were overcooked and not served with enough of the yellow pepper sauce My friends fish - striped bass had a lot of great flavors but I felt like they were trying to cover up the fact that the fish half been around too long. The fish was mealy instead of flaky. I love the location of House House, I love all the different seating areas and the inner courtyard.

Hidden House = Hidden Gem...exception food, a pleasant ambiance - cozy feeling and attentive service-friendly prompt service (Andy was an A+ server). It was a delightful experience from start to finish.
The lemon drop was amazing... And the burger at happy hour as well... Will be back next week lol
We stopped in here for a Gin Fizz Ramos and it is a very detailed and intricate process, be prepared to wait and enjoy the wait. Don’t rush the process. Literally tastes like a lite key lime pie. So amazing. Also enjoyed watching the bartenders make all of the specialty drinks and they are so friendly. I’ve been here before and the food is so delicious! Definitely go!!!
I chose The Hidden House for an anniversary dinner. The establishment was beautifully decorated, quaint courtyards and a nicely AC cool back eating room. Our waiter was polite and friendly to begin our meal, however his attentiveness was lackluster at best once we ordered our food. He did not revisit out table until dinner was over and our table was cleared by the bus boy. He walked by and said our food should be out soon and brought us a second set of plates for our appetizer? We only ate half of our appetizer and it had been pushed to the other side of table. My wife had the king salmon with a light coconut sauce. She said it was amazing! I tried it with a small piece of the scallops that I ordered, she was spot on, delicious. My scallops were not properly cooked in my opinion. They were left way too long on one side creating a crusted golden brown, but were never flipped, probably because they would have turn to rubber, so they served unseared side down. The sauce was flavorless, similar to a unseasoned benedict sauce. I did regret taking the waiter's recommendation. the braise shishito pepper appetizer was awesome as well. The drink menu was outstanding! My wife who doesn't drink found the Cucumber Collins very classy for a non-alcoholic beverage. I had a Manhattan, very solid! Overall, we appreciated the restaurant setting and outside of my scallop meal it was nice a dinner. For the price, however, we will try other upscale restaurants before we return.
Always a great evening. Wonderful food, drinks, service and atmosphere. We had Spencer for our server, took great care of us. A gem in downtown Chandler.
