The steak and lobster was marvelous. The wine was nicely chilled. We always get Ruffino Pino Grigio. Billy Miner Pie is the best dessert that I have ever eaten. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive.
I made a reservation through Open Door, but when we got there, it didn't seem like it. The hostess was very casual about the reservation “ummm... ok sure. Just sit anywhere we'd like... “ I asked for the bar area, so I get it, but.... In the reservation I stated it was a celebration for a 70th bday. There was no mention of it until we brought it up. Our server had no idea so that note didn't get passed along. The server didn't know a lot about the drinks...
Had not been to The Keg in quite awhile. The food was very good as I remembered it and ordered the prime rib with Caesar salad and baked potato. My spouse decided to go a different direction and ordered the crab cakes, which took quite awhile till they were served. One of the best crab cakes! Also she ordered the lobster roll sandwich which did not have much flavor and we asked for the fries to be served extra crispy, which they were not. Much better lobster roll sandwich in New...
