With crispy cones closed The Screamery is the only standard ice cream spot left in downtown Chandler (outside gelato at George & Gather and ice cream with cookies at Insomia). My family and I like it as the ice cream is pretty good and they have multiple options to choose from. It is a tad bit expensive and depending on the night the servers can be either very friendly or seemingly slightly annoyed. Not real sure why they close at the time they do because it is usually still fairly busy with people coming and going. The past two times we got there 15 minutes prior to close ordered and the four of us sat down at a table inside with several other tables occupied. What was slightly agitating was right at 9pm one of the employees let us and the other tables know, one by one, that the business was closed. So while still finishing our ice cream we politely got up and left. A week later we went in at 8:40pm and noticed they already had the outside tables and chairs stacked and locked up. Since we knew they would kick us out right at 9 we walked down the way to find a place to sit.
I have been here a few times while visiting Arizona. Excellent selection, easy to get a hand-packed pint
Ice cream is very good! Good variety of flavors. Only negative is the acoustics in there are really bad. Too noisy, couldn't talk without raising my voice.
Regular customers. Our favorite shop in the area. We just tried to buy some ice cream tonight at 9:00 on 6/5/25 but we’re refused service as they close at 9:00. The shop was full of customers, sitting and in line. There was an open sign on the door. I kindly asked Kate if she could scoop two more cups for us but she said no we’re closed. I even offered to turn the open sign off for her. Would have gave her a nice tip for staying open. Pretty disappointed. Won’t be back for a while. Coldstone was open til 10 and didn’t kick us out.
Great selections of ice cream and their waffle cone was amazing! Great vegan chocolate flavor:)
Good place to get ice cream. Unique flavors
One of the best recipes for Butter Peacan I have had and ive had alot. Also has some really unique flavors. Tried a few and some were out of stock so have to go back and try the.
This is NOT a nut allergy friendly place FYI.
Apple Pie x Raspberry Cheesecake was a HIT!!!! Gotta love it!
By first appearance, and first visit, I definitely was impressed - entered and left happy. A very nice cashier that I was greeted by took my order, and offered various options for ice cream samples! I highly recommend this small spot, WAY BETTER than Baskin Robbins AND Cold Stone. Trust me, the variations of ice cream ?? flavors is VERY DELICIOUS!!!!

I'm an ice cream snob and am picky with what sort of ice cream I consume. This place met my bar and exceeded it. Super authentic tasting ice cream.

The ice cream was excellent, and the atmosphere was cool. The service was nice, and the kids got to sample a bunch of different types. It's a great place to take the kids after a ball game. I would definitely recommend it and will be bringing them back again!

It’s good ice cream. I’d give it five stars but the key lime pie ice cream isn’t there anymore. Ridiculous. The Key lime pie is the best ice cream ever made by human hands. And it’s seasonal!? No, definitely not five stars. If there was key line pie ice cream it would 100% be five stars. As a sea plane pilot I require the best ice creams. And as this I require key lime pie ice cream.. year around!! I will be back in shortly and my ice cream better be waiting for me!!
Good ice cream, friendly prompt service. Nice place.
