Very nice experience. We had the meatball carousel all of them are delicious
Chicken Parm meatballs were hard as a rock yesterday. The waitress took them away and brought other meatballs. There was no discount or any word from the manager. How do they allow food to be served to customers like that. Disappointing and not sure we will go back.

Excellent food with great service from Austin. A dusting of the chandeliers would be nice...
Great food and service. I love tomatoes so got the tomato salad. Buddy got the Flora salad and it was wonderful as well. Shared the Meatball Ferris Wheel and loved five of six flavors and the spicy sausage was the best (didn’t care for turkey meatball). Next time I get the meatball and pasta it will be the spicy sausage for sure.

Wow! We are so grateful we chose to spend our anniversary dinner here! The staff was outstanding, kind, and generous toward us the entire evening. While we were seated outdoors with a temperature in the mid 90s, the misters and fans actually made me feel a bit cold! This was truly a relief as I was nervous it would be too hot to eat outside. The sauces in particular on the Charred Octopus and Risotto Alla Pescatore were absolutely wonderful. We aren’t the type of people to splurge on eating out, but this place has convinced us it’s worth doing so from time to time, especially to celebrate huge milestones. Thank you to the wonderful staff and owner for taking such good care of us and creating a memorable experience we will never forget. We will be back!

From the moment we walked in, service was impeccable. We sat on the back patio. Lovely atmosphere (except the loudly obnoxious group, cussing and being so rude in front of children) but once they left it was really nice. Emma, our server, was perfection. Gave great recommendations, attentive without being overwhelming, and on point with refills, advice, and overall loveliness. The other staff cleared dishes, delivered food, and were so nice. Above and beyond! It’s been a long while since I have been to a place that had such great servers and staff. We had the tastiest, creamiest meatballs and hand breaded calamari for apps. Delicious! Honestly have no idea how they get the meat in the meatballs to be so smooth. The pasta dishes were good. I ordered the spaghetti and clams with white sauce. I got a red sauce and the clams/sauce were Super salty. Not the best I have ever had. Emma did offer to replace but it was close to closing so did not bother. My husband ordered Rigatoni alla Zozzana which was delicious. We took our desserts to go, the lemon meringue tart and the sfogliatelle were out of this world! Have not had pastries like that since we were in Italy. Highly recommend! Ask for Emma & make sure you tip well!

If you loved Vacarro’s Italian restaurant in Phoenix before it closed, you’ll definitely want to check out his son’s restaurant, The Sicilian Butcher! We chose it for our annual anniversary dinner to celebrate, and even though the atmosphere was a bit loud, the experience did not disappoint. The Italian food was fantastic, and it was the perfect place to make some new memories.

The Sicilian Butcher is a distinctive Italian dining concept that offers a modern twist on traditional Sicilian-inspired cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the restaurant creates a warm and energetic atmosphere that blends rustic Italian charm with a contemporary, stylish setting. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, making it suitable for both casual family dinners and small celebrations with friends.
The menu stands out for its creativity and focus on bold flavors. One of the highlights is the signature meatball selection, which includes a variety of options such as beef, chicken, and specialty blends, each prepared with rich seasoning and paired with flavorful sauces. The meatballs are tender, juicy, and clearly crafted with attention to detail. Alongside this, the charcuterie boards offer a well-curated selection of cured meats and accompaniments, making them perfect for sharing.
Pasta dishes are another strong point, featuring creamy textures and well-balanced flavors. Portions are generally satisfying, and presentation adds to the overall dining experience. The dessert menu, especially classics like tiramisu and cannoli, provides a sweet and authentic finish to the meal.
Service at the restaurant is usually friendly and attentive, with staff willing to guide guests through the menu and recommend popular dishes. During peak hours, there may be slight delays, but the overall hospitality remains positive.
Pricing falls within the mid-to-upper range, which feels justified considering the quality of food and the dining experience offered. Overall, The Sicilian Butcher delivers a memorable Italian-inspired experience with flavorful dishes, a lively atmosphere, and a concept that appeals to both casual diners and food enthusiasts seeking something a bit different.
We had a 7:30 PM reservation for six people and checked in on time. The hostess initially told us they just needed a few minutes to clean our table, which seemed completely reasonable, so we stepped outside to avoid crowding the waiting area.
About 10 minutes later, we checked back in and were then told the table was actually still occupied by another party that had been finished for a while, and that a manager would ask them to leave so we could be seated. Here again this sounded reasonable because at least they had a plan to seat us.
Another 10 minutes passed, and when we asked for an update again, we found out they had seated a completely different party at the table instead. At that point, the staff started looking around at the seating chart trying to figure out where to put us. More than 25 minutes after our reservation time, they still had no idea where to seat our group.
Delays happen, but the lack of communication, disorganization, and mishandling of our reservation was disappointing and we left.

The food is delicious, my go to Italian food. Service is usually great. I eat here maybe 3-4 times a month. When the weather is nice, sitting on the patio is top tier. Usually no wait when I go besides on Friday nights, it can be up to a hour, which is understandable.

We were here from out of state and excited to try this. A few people said they enjoyed it and suggested it. The place was clean and nice. Service started off nicely and they even made an Aperol Spritz for me even though surprisingly it wasn’t on the drink menu. We ordered the burrata and tomato salad. We asked the waitress about it since it was in the salad section. She said it was mostly burrata and Tomatoes so we ordered that. (What it actually was: multiple sizes and colors of tomatoes with sliced peaches on top of a pesto and a small drop of what appeared to be the inside of a burrata surrounded by a very pretty balsamic glaze circling the plate) it was tasty and we did ask for bread to eat it with as an appetizer instead of the other options. It was definitely not what she described but was okay. I ordered Cacio e Pepe and spaghetti noodles. She kept insisting I order meatballs with it. However if you’ve ever actually had cacio e Pepe you would know this is a meatless dish. (What I got: tasted like a bechamel and had almost no cheese or pepper flavors. I honestly have this a 2/10 edible but 100% not cacio e Pepe and very little flavor out side of what tasted almost like uncooked flour and Mayb cream) I asked the waitress what was in it she insisted it was just cheese and pepper. She did offer to take it off the ticket but that wasn’t why I was asking. I honestly was confused how this was passing as cacio e Pepe. My husband got the chicken parm with a side of spice broccolini. The sauce tasted like something from a jar but was okay. The broccolini how ever 1/10 it was hard and very undercooked. Broccolini is typically tender this was hard and not edible the fork almost wouldn’t even go in to it.
Overall: we won’t go back and compare to McDonalds making an attempt to make Italian food.
