The bar was dirty on arrival even though no one was there and the bartender was not busy. We had to clean our own area, or have our arms in sticky stuff. The burger (with the $3 up charged grass fed beef) had great flavor. Unfortunately at $16.50 it didn’t come with fries. Fries were excellent, but too many to eat for one person and an additional $6. Burger and fries for $22.50 is too steep. The Southwest salad was terrible and my GF threw it away after 6 or 7 bites. The TVs at the bar all have blue screens so it is difficult to see a game, therefore not recommend to watch a game there.

Thinking of the name and the menu choices here, it reminded me of the classic scene from that great 70's chronicle of fraternity debauchery, Animal House. In this scene, the freshman Larry "Pinto" Kroger is visited by the good angel on one shoulder and the evil devil on the other.... That's the perfect description of Truland - if you want to listen to the angel, and be virtuous, you won't be disappointed with any of their delicious salad options, or if you want to give in to your demons and be decadent, they've got a long list of delicious and indulgent burgers, sweet potato tots and a full bar.Our visit was at lunch, and we decided to listen to the lady in white on our "good" shoulder. My friend had the Strawberry Fields salad, and I enjoyed the Brussels and Bacon salad (although with the bacon, I probably was flirting a bit with the guy in red camped out on my other shoulder). Both salads were beautifully presented and generously portioned. My friend and I both loved our choices. The Brussels and Bacon featured perfectly roasted brussels sprouts, bite-size squares of raw and roasted (read crispy- YUM!) kale leaves, real bacon bits, goat cheese, walnuts, cranberries and a delicious lemony vinaigrette. It hit all the flavor notes perfectly and was the kind of salad I will crave for a while!Although I didn't catch our servers name (she had large glasses, a great demeanor and huge smile), she was awesome, quick, friendly and professional.Hope to come back and sample some of their more indulgent menu-items to satisfy the dude in red with the pitchfork, camped out on my "bad" shoulder.

Our burgers and salads were delicious. Hannah our server took great care of us. 2 of our party wanted to split a burger and a salad. Hannah brought them out already divided. Will definitely go back again.

So good!! Garlic fries with aioli!!! Awesome beer selection and every burger is good. The beet salad is amazing!!!

First time visiting and it was a great experience. Chorizo, early riser, fire cracker, and tavern burgers were all great, as was the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Shakes were awesome, too. Staff was friendly and service was great. Nice, relaxed atmosphere and not too loud to enjoy the conversation at your table. Will be back to try some of the adult beverages.

We went to Truland to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone loved it. The atmosphere was lively, a little loud, but it was still possible to hear one another across the table. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend it!

First time here today with some friends! I got the fiesta bowl with salmon! I added salt to taste the rice could have been cooked more but the service was great! Will be back to try something different

We had a really great supper here tonight. I had the veggie burger and my sister had a burger. We were very impressed with how much attention they gave to a food allergy. The really great server we had checked and double checked. Very impressive, attentive service. The food was great and the sweet potato tots were AMAZING!! The garlic aioli was the perfect foil for them. So good! The restaurant was a bit noisy, but that wasn't a deal breaker or anything. Overall it was a good visit

Maybe I am a little bias as someone who grew up with Truland in Tucson but I love everything about this spot. The ingredients are fresh, local, and dang good. With consistently good burgers, I have never been wronged at Truland from either location. It's disheartening to see the place so empty every time we come by because not only is it tasty, but the servers are super attentive and quick. The staff is an added bonus with their friendly demeanor. The sauces are probably the best part about this place but the fry baskets are enormous so be ready to eat a couple potatoes, to me this was an easy challenge. Give Truland a go! They also have a great happy hour and outdoor seating available.

The hostess refused to allow us to sit at a booth, despite the fact that 4 were open and just 10 minutes after we sat at a table, another family asked if they could sit at a booth and were happily accommodated. The server appeared that she would like to be anywhere but at work. Realizing that everyone has an off day, there's also a time (Valentine's Day perhaps) where you just need to push through. With that said, the food was great. And we will try it again.

Scrumptious 100% grass fed burger. I tried the Firecracker with grilled jalapeños, pickels and saracho mayo. My wife enjoyed the truffle burger. Fries were hand cut and cooked in non-GMO rice oil. Served hot, the way I like them and not greasy. Good fries, good burger makes for a good chow down for a good hungry Rainbird from the culinary goodness NW PDX!Also smiling and friendly service. The ambience takes advantage of the warm sunshine, and the outdoor patio is covered so you do not overheat. Also there are space heaters when chilly. Big comfy cushions to sit on at the outdoor tables. Rollup door, and expansive seating inside. Lots of outdoor patio seating on nice big comfy cushions.Good burger and a good time !

The waiters were kind and friendly. I ordered a normal burger with fires. THE BURGER WAS SO FLAVORFUL . So where the fries. I am definitively coming back.

Great location in Downtown Chandler. Service was excellent and food came out hot and perfect. Tasty burgers, chicken sandwich and fries (very generous portion). Sat outside and the heaters came on to keep it warm. Will be back soon!

5 stars for the Burger, 1 star for the pricing model A 6 oz Burger costs $14, but the only reason to go to a fancy new-age Burger place is to get the healthy option. So add another $3 for the 100% grass fed meat patties. Now it's a $17 burger With. No. Sides. To get fries, that's an extra $6! So I ate the burger in about 4 minutes flat. I start looking around for more food. There's no more food. So I start eyeballing the food of the person I came with. Just some salad... Speaking of salad, $19 for a mixed green salad with 4 oz of tuna, half an avocado, a few almond slivers, 2 strawberries and some feta cheese crumbles. This is rich people's american food. While the burger was really good, the salad was not because they put way way too much vinegrette on it. The only taste was pure vinegar. Will I come back? Maybe, if I desperately want a quality, expensive burger and I happen to be in downtown Chandler. But, probably not. $38 for lunch that I'm still hungry after, is a no no. I seriously considered eating some fries left behind by the table of guests next to me that left...
