Came in during the evening Saturday, the food was pretty good especially for a July 4th weekend. The music is a great touch to this place. I’m very impressed with the Service Rylee provided. She was attentive and ensured refills on fountain drinks and water was consistent. She was dancing and really enjoying her time which I appreciated. Definitely coming back.
Great vibe, food menu & service were ok but affordable.

My wife I order the full rack of ribs and as you pick up the bone the meat fell off Instantly. The mac & cheese was like having the silky smoothest mac & cheese I’ve ever had in my life. Our Server Demetrius was amazing engaging, and very knowledgeable. Without a doubt, I would come back here again and again to try anything else on their menu

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner and the food was amazing and our server Demetrius was by far one of the friendliest serves we’ve had in a long time. We had the brisket and bacon dip as a starter and the brisket was melt in your mouth tender. We ordered a slab of rib and two Sides. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and not dry The baked potato was excellent with bacon, sour cream cheese sauce, and chives, and then we got to the ribs. The ribs by far are some of the best I’ve ever had. They literally fell off the bones. Can’t wait to come back.

Firstly thank you for hosting this Juneteenth event. But I do not think they were ready for all these folks when it came to seating and food lol. And I feel it should have been more of pay upfront deal. Wait for your food and seat yourself because there was so much space for a lot of us to come in and dance and enjoy the music but they wouldn’t let us in.
I ordered the loaded brisket fries no pork/bacon. I got Mac n cheese. They fixed it but the food was cold. Like cold cold. I was really sad and disappointed by this.
None the less it was a good time.

Sadly, we did not have a good dining experience. The brisket on my sandwich was fatty and if it weren't for the smokey flavor, would have had no flavor at all. The Texas toast was not toasted enough, so the bread got too soggy. Not enough coleslaw. The Hushpuppies were good. My husband kept getting dripped on from something in the ceiling. My soda was flat. We won't be going back.

Let me take you on a journey. When we first arrived it smelled like cigars but that dissipated. First they were out of the beer my husband ordered. Then out of the okra. We got the fries so yummy, we asked for plates…3…times. Bro with the hat finally got us some. When we ordered food we asked for cornbread. The waitress says they do not have cornbread. I asked her about the front cover that had cornbread. She asks if I mean corn on the cob. I say no and show her the menu. She looks me in the eyes and says “mam that is a muffin”….a cornbread muffin. They are also out of those. The guy next to us orders a full rack of ribs. They come not cut. He asks if they can cut them, they are so confused. Kid goes “like in half?”. Rib guy goes “no individually”. Kid goes “what do you mean?”. I attempt to hand gesture cutting the ribs individually while explaining. No dice, he takes them and brings them back in sections of 4. Rib guy asks us if the request is weird we assure him it’s not and tell him about the muffin. All are concerned. Brisket was a little dry but very yummy. Rib guy says they are also out of sausage. We asked for water refills three times. She fills my sprite cup with water. The live music plays Tori Braxton so loud the tables are vibrating We leave. 5 stars for the story!

We stumbled upon this place bc of the smell! We were headed somewhere else and walked right back to West Alley! We had no idea what we were in for. Rylee was our waitress and she was phenomenal! My husband is a jokester and she was fun and vibrant and gave it right back to him! The band Silhouette started playing and people started filling the tables. A whole vibe!! Thanks Rylee for the other band recommendations and great service!! And we got a photo to remember our 17th Anniversary!
