The lunch rush on Thursday 12/18/25 was pretty bad. Dry, burnt, over-cooked, over-seasoned meat. It really stinks being faced with the decision of - Do I throw money away and go hungry because this is almost inedible?, or - Do I choke this stuff down and have to be guzzling water for the rest of the day because I can't seem to get hydrated enough because I've consumed so much salt because somebody doesn't know how to do their job? We had an emergency food run on Thanksgiving (this was around 8pm). Whataburger was the only place open near us that wasn't turning everyone away. It was genuinely touching to see such a team of dedicated people all working together to keep a seamless and well executed shift. It was busy, food was steady, and very good especially as emergency Thanksgiving day food.
