My family and I recently had a dining experience at this restaurant that left us with mixed feelings. While the atmosphere, service, and quality of food were generally satisfactory, our experience was unfortunately marred by the inappropriate behavior of another customer at a neighboring table.During our meal, a customer nearby used inappropriate language towards the waitress. Despite the waitress's attempts to remain professional, this behavior noticeably affected everyone present, including families with children like ours. Disappointingly, the restaurant did not take effective measures to address this situation, such as reminding the customer of their conduct or asking them to leave if necessary, to maintain a pleasant dining environment.As a public place, and especially one frequented by families, we hoped for a comfortable and respectful setting. This includes not only high-quality food and service but also ensuring all customers adhere to basic social etiquette, particularly in the presence of children.While I understand that managing a restaurant is challenging and it's impossible to control all customer behavior fully, I still hope the restaurant will manage such situations more proactively in the future to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all patrons. I'm giving four stars because our server remained patient and smiled throughout our encounter, even when faced with rudeness. We look forward to seeing improvements so we can consider choosing this restaurant for dining again in the future.

I visited this place with my family yesterday. We loved it. The atmosphere is really nice, the waiters and waitresses were very kind and always making sure we had what we needed. The menu has a big selection of food, specially sushi.We had vegetable tempura cooked to perfection, the best I have tried so far in Arizona, fried calamari with a delicious sauce that had the perfect amount of spiciness, sweetness, and ginger. We also had miso ramen, different varieties of sushi, fried chicken bites, and seafood udon. Everything was well executed and delicious. I'm definitely coming back soon.Vegetarian options: Sushi, ramen, tempura dishes

This is a very nice place. The sushi was AMAZING! The noodles and appetizers also tasted good. The service was nice. The waiters were very kind, and they were constantly checking if everything was ok, if the guests needed plates to be taken away or if they needed more water. And the atmosphere was clean. This place was awesome! Of all the other sushi places I've been to this was the place that checked all my boxes. Friendly helpful staff, great menu selection and the sushi was perfect. Every other place I've been to in the area overloaded on some aspect of the food (sauce, cucumber, etc.) but this was the perfect balance. Just really well done sushi, and they were pretty fast too, but we went at a time when there was maybe about 10 other people in the place. This is now my go to sushi spot. It's worth the 25 minute drive for me.

In every way….The salmon was like butter, the short ribs were sizzling and they were a hit, the rolls were amazing and everything tasted fresh!Also worth mentioning was the incredible service by everyone there especially our waitress, Tina! What an angel! Our cups never went empty! I never had to ask for a thing and she anticipated all our needs.10/10 highly recommend!!Kid-friendliness: They were so sweet to my kids and the food was devoured by two very picky kids!!
Best place in Chandler for sushi. My husband and I went when the old sushi go round closed and Yama took its place. We were instantly impressed and became loyal customers. I have not had a sushi roll that I hated from this place. I just wish they allowed lunch options for dinner too.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a parking spot just outside but if you are in a chair, someone will need to get the door for you

Clean restaurant. Good selection of drinks although they didn't have ramune and the server also appeared to have never heard of it before. Most rolls contain fried items with mayo and "crab stick" which isn't real crab. Decided to get chirashi bowl instead in attempt to get better quality fish and they still counted 4 pieces of "crab stick" and tamago (which isn't even seafood) as part of the 11 total pieces you pay for. Several of the pieces of fish were dry and stringy symbolizing poor quality. This was the first sushi place in many years that served poor quality food. Informed server but she did not seem to understand. Will not be back.
