Made reservations and got a great booth by a window. Hamburg margaritas good but are shrinking in size. Food was excellent . Service choppy.

The service started off well, but things took a strange turn at the end. The food, however, was solid and just what we expected. We had the steak fajitas, an appetizer, and a couple of margaritas—everything was tasty.

Went at a time when it was not busy around 4 pm. Placed our order for drinks and appetizers. Food came, but no utensils had to ask. Took forever just for this. Ordered main meal and desert again very slow, 30 minute wait for dessert. The manager came over to the tables around us to check on customers that came in after my husband and I. We felt ignored. I'm hoping it had nothing to do with our race, but the other tables around us were getting lots of attention from the manager, drink staff, and they were not minorities. Just an observation. This was the Chandler location. Maybe the other location isn't this way. Feeling like you have to beg for attention and decent service is not a good feeling, and my husband and I were celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary too, so kind of a disappointment.

The restaurant was clearly short handed and full of customers. Despite having a reservation there was nobody welcoming customers ... we waited about 19 minutes before anybody showed up to assign a table to us and the three groups in line. There were clearly short on staff and those available were working hard but the situation was impossible. Our food was eventually brought in but they forgot to provide silverware and we got up and took some from the set tables ... not a cheap restaurant and no contingency plans .... In the past we experience solid service

Valentine dinner was very disappointed. First of all, they're have a live band inside the building. The music was very loud. The chickens fry steak was so burnt and dry. No manager or server ever come around to check on the table. Never again going to that place.

Opentable Diner

This place has gone down the tubes... I'm guessing it's under new management and they are going the cheap route.. serving $15 margaritas in solo cups, walls are filthy and Need to be cleaned or painted and dining furniture looks like it came 2nd hand after a fast food place closed. The ONLY good thing we can say is the band that was playing was good.

What a treat! The meal started with their famous cornbread and so tasty. We ordered the chips and salsa and the chips were like air and not at all greasy. My husband had the Navajo Taco and it was impressive! HUGE and he enjoyed every bit and wants to go back to get it again. I had the chicken strips and will try something else next time as I thought the buffalo sauce was on the side but it is on the strips, so if you like buffalo sauce, you'll love it. We ended with the Ancho fudge pie and that's like eating warm fudge with whipped cream - heavenly! It was all just fantastic!!! Happy Hour begins at 3pm in the entire restaurant, not just the bar, so savings on drinks and appetizers. We plan to take guests in a couple of weeks as it's too good not to be shared.

Service was amazing even with the huge crowd that came tonight for the DJ.

I wasn’t going to leave a review but while we were there, we signed up to their rewards program to get free nachos and the very next day, I received several telemarketing calls (that I do get every once in while but not several in a day and more than normal on the days to follow) as well as pornographic emails sent to my email address. I have had this email address for 15 years and never received a single pornographic email. It could be a coincidence but I am curious if anyone else had the same thing happen? On top of that the food was awful. Me and someone else at my table ordered the chicken fried steak and when it came out it was very over cooked. Litterally, nothing on my plate tasted good and we very disappointed

It wasn't too busy. The prices are reasonable. It has a nice atmosphere. The service was friendly, but a bit slow. My food wasn't that special tasting. There were good menu options.

Bruh. I just wanted warm cornbread and they had other buns on the menu. We didn’t realize there was a club night at z tejas. I think we might have got a contact high from the patio while trying to avoid the seismic bass waves coming from inside. Not the z tejas I remember from Austin tx. Sad emoji. The manager was so nice trying to accommodate us though! Just not the right night for a family of 4 with youngens

First time at a Z Tejas location. I went to this location during off-peak, mid-afternoon hours. I believe I was served by some sort of manager or maybe bartender and was disappointed with the lack of attention and friendliness. It was as if i were invisible until time to lay the check at my table.
Poor 1st impression. Thankfully the rest of my outing was pleasant.
