Well, here is an update as the owner doesn't like truthful reviews. You say you have a top-notch cook, well the cook wasn't there when we stopped in. Patience was the only one working as she told us there would be a wait. The hash browns may have been normal at one point, but there were over cooked and like I said, they looked like mini french-fries that morning. Your soy butter was spoiled, doesn't matter if it is restaurant quality; spoiled is spoiled. You checked the food bucket from my visit from almost 3 weeks ago? Right. Your sarcasm is fun to read but not needed. I love your fair review as well. Tip was 25%. Spend it wisely. With that said, my reviews are just a snapshot in time of locations that I tend to visit. I don't just go places to leave reviews. If you don't like the review, maybe you should look at the problem on your end before attacking customers for their personal review. Good luck with your business.
Stopped in for mid morning breakfast. Two tables full of people when we arrived. Waitress told us sit anywhere and the wait began. Only one person working; cooking, serving, cashier. A quick stop turned into 90 mins for breakfast. Hashbrowns were mini crispy french-fries, eggs burnt, and butter tasted off. My entire party left without coming close to finishing anything we ordered. Paid, still left a tip but wont be returning.
We stopped in here on the way to the Grand Canyon for a quick breakfast as it was the only restaurant we had seen for miles. We soon realised we discovered the most wonderful old American Town and restaurant. The service we received from our waitress Patience was amazing and the food was amazing, with a special shout out to quite possibly the best pancakes (flapjacks) I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend going slightly off the beaten track to find this place. 10/10 will not disappoint.
We had the privilege of stopping at Sheps miners inn for 2 nights with our family. We loved everything about it! The room was quirky and old fashioned but had everything we needed and more! Really comfy beds too! They simply couldn't do enough for us. We ate in yesterday's for breakfast and evening meal and we all said it was the best traditional American food we had had during our trip across Arizona. All the staff, special shout to Patience, are wonderful and so friendly and honestly made our family feel so welcome and that nothing was too much. Chloride itself was amazing, the locals are some of the friendliest we have come across and we felt welcome everywhere. We wish we could stop longer and will return. Even if you just pass by it is totally worth the road stop!
Awesome place awesome people!!!
This serves as a perfect illustration of how you can miss out on wonderful experiences if you stick to the usual routes!!!! The people were genuinely nice, and the food was exceptional. We ordered the 2 Covid hamburger, Meat Loaf, BLT, Chicken Strips, Chips and Salsa, along with 5 drinks, all for under $75.00. The food was absolutely delicious!!!!!
We drove out from Kingman for a day trip on a very dust blown morning and wrapped it up with lunch here. I ordered the chili burger without cheese and she got the chili cheese fries. Both had huge portions which were just like home cooking; we each took half of everything home. Our waitress was amazing and very helpful, the decor and memorabilia really made for a great experience too. Definitely recommend this place!
We loved this place. We had the covid burger and it was the best burger I had in a long time. They were friendly and the atmosphere was cute.

This place is amazing for being in a small town! They allowed 12 of us to have dinner right before closing. The service was awesome!! They even had karaoke. It was a great time.

This place is great! If you’re thinking about coming here and wondering if it’s worth it, like we were… DO IT, it doesn’t disappoint! Great American home cooking like Mama made it with outstanding service and amazing scenery. Patience was our waiter and she was fun, informative and took great care of us. Enjoy the town, there’s a ton of old 1860 mining history to see and explore.

Excellent as always
We had breakfast here this morning for the second time. Had chicken fried steak and miners big breakfast.
Both were fabulous and prices were amazing
Everyone around us talking about prices were from 3-4years ago.
Being in Golden Valley makes it easy trip.
Waitress was a 10 at the very least
