We stopped in here on the way to the Grand Canyon for a quick breakfast as it was the only restaurant we had seen for miles. We soon realised we discovered the most wonderful old American Town and restaurant. The service we received from our waitress Patience was amazing and the food was amazing, with a special shout out to quite possibly the best pancakes (flapjacks) I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend going slightly off the beaten track to find this place. 10/10 will not disappoint.
We had the privilege of stopping at Sheps miners inn for 2 nights with our family. We loved everything about it! The room was quirky and old fashioned but had everything we needed and more! Really comfy beds too! They simply couldn't do enough for us. We ate in yesterday's for breakfast and evening meal and we all said it was the best traditional American food we had had during our trip across Arizona. All the staff, special shout to Patience, are wonderful and so friendly...
This serves as a perfect illustration of how you can miss out on wonderful experiences if you stick to the usual routes!!!! The people were genuinely nice, and the food was exceptional. We ordered the 2 Covid hamburger, Meat Loaf, BLT, Chicken Strips, Chips and Salsa, along with 5 drinks, all for under $75.00. The food was absolutely delicious!!!!!
