My friend and I had lunch there last October or November! The food was Amazing and the crew was Awesome! I almost cried when I found out about the fire. I hope it will be open in mid October this year for another lunch and perhaps a dinner also!
I was in a somber mood while coming down the hill from the Granite Mountain monument to 18 firefighters who died fighting the Yarnell fire (look it up), but I was hungry none-the-less. I came upon a not-very impressive dive near Congress, AZ and decided to stop. Best decision ever! I'm from New Mexico and I know good GCCs!
