It’s been years since we have been down to Rocky Point to Lucas but this place delivered on that nostalgia with imported Coke from Mexico and delicious mesquite grilled chicken! It’s not fair to compare one to one with its Sonoran counterpart with its small town and beach ambiance but for south central Arizona it’s a fantastic alternative!

I have eaten chickens in different cities, but these chickens have a very rich flavor, they are not as juicy as many would like them. Their delicious sauce is Guamuchil style, it was worth trying them. Let's hope that they want to make them Sinaloa style but their package was missing the elbow salad, rice and beans. With its turned chiles. Cheer up.

I bought 3 chickens to take away with sauces and salads, we came from Phoenix and we are from Peñasco since there was also a chicken originally from there, the service was not so good, the flavor of the chicken was not a big deal, I expected a little more ? obviously not It will taste the same but it wasn't as good

Excellent, everything very tasty, rice, beans, sauce and the service, everything very special. I recommend it. It is worth driving to Coolidge. You will not regret it. If you cannot go to Peñasco, try it in Coolidge. I will return if you do.
Very friendly nice owners. Greeted us and gave us free samples itf ceviche to try and it was delicious! Flavorful and perfect seasoning just like the amazing grilled chicken!!!
Dietary restrictions: Chicken is season perfectly, no breading just chicken, fresh vegetables, salsas,and condiments. Rice and beans are delicious no dairy added.

A male friend and I stopped in at the Coolidge location for the first time. There were two others sitting and eating their meals. When we were finished the hostess approached us and asked "How was the food"? I ordered chicken, beans and rice and the day they opened, the to go chicken was burnt so my lady friend and I had to throw some food away but today the beans and rice were good, however the chicken had very little flavor to it. She mentioned something about the cooks and then said that we smelled good and in spanish asked if we were boyfriends. I just smiled and said no. I am a disabled combat veteran and have eaten some things that many would not LOL but I'll not return here!!!

So we frequent the Pollo Lucas in Rocky Pointe (Puerto Penasco). We just got notification of this new location on their instagram account in Coolidge, AZ!
So we made the 36 mile trip for date night! It was so good, kinda thought there might be a small let down because the Rocky Pointe location is so near and dear to me but there was 0 letdown.
This place was amazing, the staff was great and they had futbol on their TV's, love it!
We will definitely be back!

Really good chicken, way better than pollo loco or KFC, the workers there also extremely nice and great attitude. Definitely going back for more, just got some today but I may have to go back before they close. A+ for sure. Also try the mariscos ??
