50s Diner Backseat Bar & Motel RV Park

CLOSED INDEFINITELY is what the sign on the door read 7-26-24.... pretty disappointing to drive by chilleens in order to eat at this diner and then discover this hastily taped and curling paper sign on the door. Damn shame, matter of fact

Replaced an order for takeout at the diner which is under a new ownership and has a new name. The service was great. Except that our order got mixed up with someone else's and I had to go back to get the correct item.

It's a great truck stop but not much parking. The food is good and has a bar with an RV park and you can hangout after hours and drink on the patio. Great spot to camp

Great place to grab a burger or a beer. I don't drink so I just stuck with the burger. It was tasty and the staff was very friendly. Pricing was also good and very fair.

It's a tad tight for us with the wheelchair. It is also a little difficult to get into the men's restroom because it has an uphill slope for wheelchairs to access. The wait staff works very hard to give good service. We had an appetizer that was supposed to have panko breading but instead it had a very thick flour coating. The chicken inside was very good. We were also supposed to get a chipotle aioli for dipping but we were served a dill type aioli. Atmosphere was very nice and the live entertainment was awesome!

My husband and I have stayed at the motel numerous times and every time Jaime and staff were amazing! The rooms are clean and great and after being in the Az sun it’s so nice to go back to the room and relax while knowing that we are safe! Thank you Jaime! You guys ROCK!!

Noteworthy details: The hotel is located right behind a very busy truck stop and we can definitely hear all the engines and air brakes and car alarms, but the noise clears out pretty quick.

We arrived before the crowd made their way in. The table next to us filled up with 6 very nice people who wanted to enjoy their night out. We glanced over at them once in awhile They were served their drinks

Yet No One Came To Take their Food Order

They tried to get a server over to take their order. Eventually the all got up and walked out leaving the server to pay for the soft drinks they ordered.

The room was wonderfully clean and looked great. It smelled nice and the ac worked great. It was a nice surprise. I would recommend to anyone.

Rooms: The room was very cute and very clean. The ac worked great. Totally recommend.

Nearby activities: The 50's Diner was right by our room. Very cute and had live music. Great fun.

This is for the diner only. Went there for Mother's Day dinner. There was 4 of us, only got two menus. Took them 15 minutes to take our order. I ordered the reuben came to me soggy, hardly any sauerkraut, bread wasn't toasted. Fries were salty. The only thing I finished was my soda. $58, not well spent. I won't be back.

I cannot recommend this place.
Long wait for drinks to be delivered my table with barely anyone at the diner. Ordered the "Ruben" and the "smash" burger. Just for the bread for the Ruben to not be toasted and super soggy. The smash burger was just a burger. That was half done and half rare. I could smell cigarettes from the pool tables outside and I was closer to the bar.

Had lunch at the dinner. I wasn't hesitant at first but once I walked in I immediately noticed how clean the restaurant was.
The food and service was excellent, great atmosphere!
