Decent food for being inside of a gas station. Almost $4 for a single street taco is ridiculous. I suggest ordering ahead when they actually answer the phone, if not you'll find yourself waiting in line for about 20 minutes

I was stopped for gas on my way from Tucson back home to MO and I smelled the food and I noticed that trucks and other people were stopping all around even without getting gas to run over and get food. The staff was patient and friendly with this Midwestern guy, I got the beef baria tacos. You get 4 huge ones and a bowl of baria sauce. 1 giant Carmel Churro, and I git a brisket quesadilla to go. Next time I head down to Tuscon, I'll go out of my way for this food.

We had an order of 6 street tacos, 3 with carne asada, n 3 pastor for lunch before our hike. And on the way back we had an order of quesabirria tacos and an order of 6 street tacos. Same as lunch. Omg the food is soooooo goooood! My husband I really enjoyed the food. I love it!!!!!
Stop bye, get some food and some drinks. Hit the road happy. Fill up on great food and decent prices for food quantity and quality. They make it right in front of you.

This place is freaking great. The reviews aren’t lying. The quality is top notch and the people that run this spot are very hospitable. I got number 25 and even though I’m in the middle of the mountains the fish was great. Full of season and it went well with all the fresh pico and rice and beans. The fresh jalopeno went well with my meal. Will stop by here when I pass through next time. This is a spot I would come back to multiple times no problem

Let me tell you!!!!! we were headed to Phoenix and we’re hungry and needed gas so we went to El Gordo‘s. The lady was lovely. I asked her what’s the best thing on the menu and she told me the tacos and boy was she right now I’m addicted thanks a lot lovely lady! 😁❤️ seriously THE best birria tacos l have ever eaten. Stuffed with roast beef and you get FOUR! Heaven must taste like this! Yum. Oh and very quick friendly service. 10 out of 10!

This was absolutely 💯 fabulous. We hesitated on stopping at a place inside a gas station. Seemed kinda odd but very few options. I would stop again if I were in the area. Wonderful service the meal was delicious. It was one of the best Mexican meals I have had in a long time. Worth every penny.
