A non de script restaurant in Cornville.Inside, fine dining at its best!Raspberry vinaigrette in the salad was insane; if I had a swimming pool of this nectar, I would dive head first.Clam chowder was tomato base and bursting with flavor.Weiner schnitzel was moist, crispy and spot on. The side of sauce (Jagermeister story) for the schnitzel was fantastic. Drank two glasses of wine; Riesling and Chardonnay.Don’t forget the baked Brie!

We were pleasantly surprised by this. We spent a week in the Flagstaff-Sedona area and were looking for an alternative to the ubiquitous Mexican and Italian restaurants. German food? German food!! My wife had the pork shank which was outstanding (and huge). I had special mixed game stroganoff. Very different, very tasty. German sides (spaetzle, red cabbage and potato salad) were all excellent. Given that the restaurant is in the Verde Valley wine region I gave the Tumbleweed red a try and was quite happy with it. It's a bit out of the way but is worth the trip.
