I just had lunch at Outlaw Pizza and BBQ with some friends. Overall everybody loved what they ordered - myself and another friend had the pepperoni calzone, 3 had pizzas and one had the special roast beef sandwich. The service was wonderful. One of the pizzas was requested to be thin crust but it came out no different than the other pizzas. Those who ordered pizzas enjoyed them. My friend said the roast beef sandwich and split pea soup was delicious. The calzone was very good and big enough to split. My main complaint, which is why I removed two stars from my review was that one friend and I just ordered water to drink. Our glasses of water came, no problem. When we got our bills, we were both charged for bottled water. When we questioned the charge, we were told that they always charge for water since they use bottled water. There was no mention of this anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant. I have never been charged for a glass water anyplace else (especially in Arizona) and that made Outlaw Pizza and BBQ a bit off putting to me. If you're going to serve me bottled water AND charge me for it, then bring me a bottle of water. Or at least tell me that you're going to charge me. I find this a deceptive practice and probably will not frequent this restaurant again because of it. While we are only talking about $1.50, it's a hidden charge that did not go unnoticed by me or my friend.

Cowboys and Cowgirls Saddle Up! This hot new trending pizza joint is hopping with crispy crust pizzas, calzones and unbelievable homemade desserts. Just opened this last January. So when you're done roping cattle for the day, replenish with a hot pan of pizza and a cold one. Atmosphere is great and a very friendly and accommodating staff. Not to mention that the prices are very reasonable. Pet friendly patio available. So the next time you are near or passing by Cornville, stop by and try them out.

Ok...so these guys recently moved into the former Farm-Go-Go location on Cornville Road a few months back. As always, I read the reviews before trying a new place. I ran into someone at Brewha a few weeks back and they recommended Outlaw, after a good discussion of pizza options here in the Verde Valley. So, Saturday presented the opportunity. I called in my order for two pizzas and a calzone. I was told 10-15 minutes, but I know better and gave them a solid 20 since they are literally 2-3 minutes away. Upon entering the decor is completely changed for the better. Nice open concept and dining area with tables. The gal who greeted me was super sweet (well we all are here in the valley) and I told her my order. It arrived hot and well packaged. I told her I had expectations on this pizza and she assured me it was the best...but I'm from California recently transplanted and I have high pizza standards. I ordered sausage and mushroom with extra cheese. While the sausage wasn't homemade (looking for homemade fennel), it was good. The crust was crispy with a good chew...sauce was the right amount and of course hard to mess up extra mozzarella! The key for me however, was day two...how does this pie reheat? Well I'll tell you...better than expected. I reheat on cast iron skillet at medium and the pie was crispy and the heat induction really elevated the sauce flavors. I was very pleased... The other people in my party ordered the California calzone which was good sized for the pricing...enough for two. She stated it was a bit doughy and could've used a few extra minutes in the oven which I'm assuming is commercial and not wood or stone. Just a small fix. Insides were good she said, just the dough. Other party had the Outlaw pizza minus the habanero and red chiles...gotta say I was intrigued by the pulled pork which I had a taste of and it was tender, flavorful and really added to the pizza. So...all in all I will be returning again, especially based on location. Typically I would travel to VOC to Rotten Johnny's, but no need. Now if only Outlaw had homemade fennel sausage I'd be set! Lol Sorry no photos...I was too hungry upon arrival home ... next time
I just ate the best BBQ pulled pork sandwich!!! Anyone reading this ,come try it,it will melt in your moth and the fries are amazing!!

This is a great little restaurant in Cornville. You can do takeout or dine-in. Highly recommend the wings and the loaded mac and cheese! There are several different sauces to choose from for the wings, and the mac and cheese was truly loaded with bacon and mild green chilies. People near us had pizza and it looked really good, too.The host was very friendly and informative. Our order was filled and delivered to our table in a short amount of time, and everything was delicious! We would go back there in a heartbeat!
