Such a quaint spot with warm atmosphere and delicious food! Mahi-mahi tacos were great. Off the grill fish went so well with fresh mango bits. Verde Valley Burger was perfect—soft, juicy and not overpowered with spices. I really appreciate fresh garlic on my fries. The staff were courteous and friendly. Over all was pretty good. We felt everyone working there was very kind. Though we didn't fit in because of the age demographic . This is a place for the more 50+ crowd. We actually usually love those kinds of environments too. I live in a 55+ community though I'm in my 30s. (Because I'm disabled I'm allowed to live there.) I loved the feel of the restaurant. We opened the restaurant at 11 am one morning and were ushered to a creekside window table highlighted with hummingbirds flitting around outside feeders 3 ft from our table. I ordered the lunch special, a seared tenderloin sandwich with a side of fresh tangy coleslaw. For dessert, my husband and I shared homemade custard buttermilk pie, a house specialty. Both were delish. Other patrons joined the lunch crowd; the owner and chef talking to customers and opening wines at the bar....
