We have been several times and came today for lunch. Service was very slow, and the food was not quite as advertised. It is getting run down as well as shown in the two attached images. Ok value, but not what it was when it was new.

We visit Sedona/Cottonwood once/year and already can't wait to return next year because of this wonderful restaurant! Dined for lunch; the website menu was misleading/slightly inaccurate, stating that some specialty pastas were only available after 3 pm. The printed menu clarifies that there are lunch pastas for $13, that include bread/herbed olive oil, while there are more pasta choices on the dinner menu that are also available all day and have a larger portion plus they include soup or salad and bread.
Also, if you just want unlimited bread, salad and soup (no entree), that is $13 at lunch.

Husband loved his lunch portion of fettucine alfredo; I had the best pappardelle Bolognese from the dinner menu, (having just read Marcella Hazan's classic recipe, it makes me wonder if the restaurant uses that recipe as well, it was that superb!), and shared the accompanying Caesar with my husband who loved the white anchovies on top. Caesar was well seasoned.

Service was excellent too! Prices are very reasonable. Hope this fairly new restaurant thrives as it is exceptional!

This review is for lunch, so it's not a statement of any dinner experiences. There were always open parking spots and open tables during the weekday lunch service.
We go here regularly for their salad, soup, and bread option, but they also have a number of classic dishes as lunch specials too. They have several choices for soup, and you can get either a Caeser or garden salad with your choice of dressing. The bread is fresh, hot Focaccia served with seasoned olive oil.
If you only get an "entree", you can get out of there for about $20 per person. Add a softdrink and either an appetizer or dessert and it's still only about $40 per person for this excellent dining option.

We just got back from the most enjoyable dinner at BV's Italian Kitchen! All four of our party ordered different entrees, and none of us were disappointed in our meals. The ambiance was perfect, from the decor to the volume and choice of music. Staff were friendly and attentive, especially Marco and Jana, and we didn't feel rushed at all. If you're looking for delicious food at a reasonable price, head to BV's!

Unfortunately the service was terrible my 2 times here. Food is very good but both times, the wrong order was taken and delivered. Plates handed to diners instead of placed in front of them. Servers seem very inexperienced.

My parents and I went for dinner a couple nights ago, a celebration for their anniversary/ my birthday. We each ordered the lasagna & salad, I asked the waiter how big the portions were and he made it sound like a good decent size. We feasted on the bread wich was good, the salad was just ok for me, mom didn't eat hers, she didnt l Iike it. It only had two grape tomatos sliced in half, a few strips of carrot & dressing, dad had the ceaser salad. The lasagna took a while to arrive which was served a huge bowl/plate thing but the lasagna portion was tiny, 4 bites it was gone, there was a lot of sauce, the flavor was not good, mom took a small bite and didn't like it, Dad and I finished ours, we did go through 4 baskets of bread just to get filled up. The waiter never came back to check on us, see if we needed anything but he sure did tend to the party that came in after us. My dad got his attention & told him it was my birthday, I told him it was their anniversary as well, he said he would bring me something and gave them a dessert menue over ten minutes went by and no sign on our waiter, I told other passing employees what we wanted, it seemed like 20 minutes until the dessert arrived. I doubt I will ever go back there. I'll stick to my own lasagna.

It was bland for Italian food. Not a bad place but a tad expensive for food that is as basic as it is

It was my first time going to this restaurant. We waited until it had been open for a while. The atmosphere is dark. We went for a lunch at 1:30 PM. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and accurate.
They start by giving you some small pieces of bread with spiced dipping oil. The people I were with seemed to be okay with their meals. Mine was just okay.
I ordered the veggie garden sandwich. It did not have the advertised yellow squash on it which was one of the reasons I picked that sandwich I prefer it to zucchini. They should tell you ahead of time if they are out of an ingredient that is advertised. The sandwich was mostly zucchini as there wasn't much of the other ingredients either. I ordered it with lemon Aoli of which was very good. It comes with waffle fries. They were very crispy and in my opinion a little overdone. They weren't bad though and I ate them all.
$4 for a soda is a little steep but you do get free refills. Speaking of prices the menu prices were higher than what is advertised on their website. That should be corrected as many of us choose our restaurants by the prices on the website menu.
I might go back one more time in the future and try a pasta but I would not order that sandwich again.

Excellent place for a delicious lunch or dinner. Super laid back atmosphere. This place reminds me of the way that fine dining used to be. Feels like it should be sitting in a country club or on a golf course someplace. Christa clearly is a seasoned veteran server. She is friendly and never missed a beat. People with her particular skills dont seem to exist anymore. This establishment , and Christa are Gems! We will be back. Oh yeah, did I mention that the prices are super reasonable?
