Such a fun and festive place!!! Above awesome decor and atmosphere, super friendly staff at any time of the day. The complimentary chips and salsa are perfect, I would pay for it. My shrimp fajitas came fast and hot. I had to come back on a separate trip to treat myself to their fried ice-cream, which came in a very satisfying portion. Fun, fun, fun place to go!
Calavera is the best restaurant in Cottonwood! The margaritas are amazing! They have great food specials! My favorite dishes are the creamy chipotle chicken and the ceviche. Always fresh and delicious. The bartenders Austin and Alondra make the best drinks. I am a loyal regular customer and the food and service is always great!
You don't too many mexican food restaurants that will go the extra mile for something as simple as a red sauce. This place has 4 or 5 red sauces. Did a combo plate with enchiladas and a relleno, now here's the kicker, 9 out of 10 restaurants would put the same red sauce on both, no complaints. But, they put 2 different sauces, that's impressive. Great specials and great margs...enjoy
