Read some other reviews and want to be very clear. No, Texas does not have better BBQ.

This was quite a surprise find! We loved all of the smoked meats- hard to choose a favorite. I would recommend trying the sampler platter. Any leftovers are great in a breakfast burrito or as toppings on a homemade pizza. We’ll happily come again when we are in the area on future travels. Keep up making the exceptional menu.

Awesome food. If you get a sampler and 2 sides, you can feed 4 people.

Really disappointed tonight. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food to go tonight. It was the 1/2 BBQ Chicken, Coleslaw and Cornbread with a side of fries. Everything but the fries were prepared already so I’m not sure what took so long. When we got it home, the Cornbread was not there, ?!! While I love to see people enjoying their jobs, a little more attention to service and less socialization are definitely called for. Also, an apology instead of an excuse of ‘it backs up sometimes’ would have been nice. From a local, regular customer.

Best brisket we have ever had. We went to the one in Sedonna. It was so good two days later we went to the one in Cottonwood. I agree with the previous review. They shouldn't ask fir tips when your place your own order, get your own sauces, water and pick up your good. Then ask for a tip again when you purchase your alcohol. If people want to leave a tip they can leave it on the table. It is getting ridiculous asking fir tips like full service restaurants.

Great food . Great brisket. Good sauces. My one and only critique would be the process. To go in and find a place to sit ...read the menu.. go back and order for the table (4 people)... go back to the table... then after waiting for your food to be ready going back to pickup your table's order... all seems hardly efficient considering the size of the place. This doesn't even consider getting drinks (which you pour yourself) for your table. Also there are not trays to carry multiple items to your table. The process in my opinion is broken and should be thought out with providing a relaxing experience in mind.

Probably the best barbeque I’ve ever eaten. Their private label beer is equally satisfying. The ribs were meaty and tender as they should be. The only mistake we made is not trying the sampler platter. One has to try their beans too. I wish there was a location in

We were in town because we were staying at Dead Horse State Park, we had originally wanted to go to a different BBQ joint we had visited the last time we were in town. Sadly, when we drove to it we found it had gone out of business, so we looked into other BBQ places and found this restaurant. Their online menu has basic information such as the platter telling you what meats come in it, but it doesn't actually state the amount of food that comes in it which would be nice to know when you have a family or group of people and need to know how many platters/sides to order.I called our order in and the staff member on the phone was friendly, worked quickly and made the ordering process simple. Even though the restaurant was pretty busy we were told our order would only take 20-30 minutes to complete. We received a text earlier than expected that our order was done so we went in to pay and grab our order. The floor was pretty busy, but thankfully there was only one person in line in front of us. The girl running the register was quick, though there was a slight confusion with an item we ordered, one of the other staff members said it wasn't in their, but the register girl said it was and that we could leave, however it wasn't so the male staff member had ran out really quick to bring it to us as we were headed back to the car.The BBQ joint we visited last time we were in town had plates and silverware which is really nice when you are traveling and don't have those items in your hotel room/cabin, Colt only had silverware and the girl only put two forks in the bag even though she saw there was four of us. Thankfully I had brought some extra silverware in our camping stuff, though no plates so we just ended up using the containers the stuff came in and made it work.Price wise everything is pretty on par with other BBQ places, It was about $60 for what we had ordered, and it feed all four of us with some leftovers. The meats were all pretty good aside from the brisket which didn't really had any seasoning, we each had something we liked in it. The garlic fries were amazing! The corn bread is a bit too dry but it is still good. Overall a pretty decent place to eat at/order from. (This review was from a while ago, I am just adding it to google reviews from my yelp page.)
