Holy Fried Chicken Batman. That was the best chicken I’ve ever had. Got the chicken tenders with sides of green chilli Mac and sour dough waffles. The breading was light and crispy and the chicken tender. The Mac was the best ever. Loved it. Could have had only that as the entree and would have been super happy. Plus sour dough waffles? Can’t go wrong with that.

Last week, my fiance and I spent four nights visiting Cottonwood, a really lovely town. We tried several of Maynard's restaurants/businesses.
Four8 Chicken was excellent. The service was prompt and friendly. We found the food delicious and a great value for what we paid.
We ordered the two piece dark (not spicey) with the green chile shells and cheese and elote off the cob. Everything was fantastic. The chicken seasoning and skin were mouth-watering, and the meat was full of flavor. So too with the shells and cheese and elote. Oh, and we can't forget the duros, which were addictive.
All in all, a fantastic meal and experience, and we can't wait to eat there again during our next visit!

We went for the name behind the business and love Maynard wines and the record store, but was very disappointing. Chicken was not really flavorful and the thighs on the bone had black spots. Cornbread was dry. Hush puppies disappointing. Honestly, save your money and try somewhere else.

Chicken moist and tasty. Elote was delicious. Hush puppies not what we’re used to in the south (more fluffy), but yummy. Fennel slaw and Mac and cheese pretty good. Take-out order ready when promised and staff was friendly and efficient.

Get the Southwestern chicken sandwich, ask for it “MJK style” 🌶️🥵😊 Great food, great service. Try the Wildflower mead!

Small place that had food that was amazing! Their mead is awesome, really well made. Chicken was just a little spicy, and the housemade Buffalo sauce is amazing as well. Server's were really nice and friendly. Great place that will definitely be visited again!
