I ordered a hot chocolate and a gooey cinnamon roll. The hot chocolate took too long in reaching me,and when it arrived it was more like tepid watery chocolate milk. My bf received his hot breakfast and after another 5-8 minutes our server gave me my “gooey” cinnamon roll which was not even warm. And gooey it was NOT. One expects an icing of cream cheese and powder sugar on it, but instead was some horrible margarine spread with confectioners sugar... maybe staff needs to be educated better on what or how some of these simpler foods should taste? Very disappointed.

Love Crema. Been coming here for close to eight years. Great food, drinks and people. But I recommend skipping them on busy weekend mornings. Especially if you have a large party. Long waits for brunch are common in popular places, but once you sit down, it shouldn't take 40 minutes to order and get your food. Personally I think they have more seating than serving capacity in the kitchen. There's been three occasions that our wait has been excessive and I won't go here on weekends if the wait is longer than 10 minutes. On weekdays, definitely come to Crema. Weekends it's hit and miss. With that said there are plenty of other good breakfast places in Old Town to check out if they're too busy.

I love this place! I went to the takeout window here several times during my stay and everyone who worked here was super friendly and nice. The takeout window is super convenient too when you're on your way to sightsee. Didn't have time to eat inside, but the menu looked pretty good. The takeout has a great menu of coffees and teas if you want to get fancy, and the muffins I ate were always fresh be delicious. Will for sure be coming back on my next trip!

We had an expensive, mediocre breakfast served with a heaping helping of snark. Only one of the staff members we saw seemed to want to be working there on the morning we went--she was doing a good job making her guests feel welcome. Our server had 'attitude' from the get-go--she made it clear that she did not approve of me ordering on behalf of my wife, blamed another staffer for a forgotten beverage, and refused to make eye contact when coming to our table. The food was overcooked and tasted like it had been plated for a while when served. We bailed on using the Crema discount breakfast coupons from our hotel on subsequent days, and had delicious, cheaper meals served by friendly staff at The Red Rooster, which is just a couple of doors up the street.

Was looking forward to some good coffee and breakfast and decided to give Crema a go. Service was honestly great. Very attentive and engaging. We ordered 2 cups of coffee and took a sip each and it tasted like old under brewed coffee just no coffee punch to it ant lacked any flavor which kinda became the theme. We changed our coffees to a white mocha and cappuccino both were very good. When you walk in and see an espresso machine and pastries we expected really good coffee maybe get rid of the house blend and sell those specialty ones only instead much better flavor. We had the chicken and waffles and chilaquiles. Both looked fantastic. The chilaquiles lacked that level of spice that you're looking for in this dish. Not hot but you need it to be at least mild. This didn't even register on a spice scale. All in all the dish just lacked seasoning. The chicken and waffles looked fantastic, 2 beer battered chicken breasts on a red velvet waffle with a marscapone icing. But again the flavor was missing. No seasoning in the beer batter keeps this dish from really being good. Worst part was the chicken breast tasted watery. Now there's only one way that happens. Force thawing the chicken in or under water. The chicken takes on water and you can literally taste it when it's cooked. A huge no no in the culinary world. All in all not a terrible experience. Just some small tweaks and the food could be amazing.

Fun place! Sat on patio and our server was female and awesome! We visited Thursday 10-18-19 around 1:00 pm! She was very helpful and very attentive. We will be back. She served us a champagne flight with several different fruit blends. The flight was not only colorful it was delicious. Our bartender was very much a people person and it was obvious she loved her job. We will be back next year.
This place had a super cute atmosphere , I loved that there was inside and outside seating . I had breakfast tacos that were good but not the best I have ever had , my mother in law had pancakes that were really good . I will say the Chai Latte and the chocolate chip cookie were good .

Pretty decor, and yummy menu! From the moment we walked in, I saw the prettiest pastry I needed to start my day with. We were seated promptly, and ordered drinks immediately. I took a chance with their chai which is perfectly sweet and spicy. It was SO good! The pastry was a fruity croissant with mascarpone and light chocolate drizzle. I was so happy that the fruit was fresh and not tart. It's rare I splurge and order anything that's not all veggies or dairy/sugar free (I know how bad that sounds!) but this was SO worth it!

Wonderful menu. Great service. Well worth stopping here. Everything was perfect. We will be returning for lunch before we leave town. Berry crepes and chorizo spicy biscuits and gravy. Spicy bacon crisp wonderful.
