We went here for a friends 50th birthday party on a Friday night. The atmosphere was inviting and the seating was good for a party of 12. The decor was good and kept the night interesting while we all talked about what a Merkin is… don’t ask.. We were a bit worried about the food coming at a timely manner due to an older gentleman complaining to the manager right informs of us about the tardiness of his orders. We had no problems, food came quickly and hot. My only complaint was the taste of the food. I thought it was bland, lacked texture and tasted like a can of tomato sauce. I kept my mouth quiet since I didn’t pick the place but later quite a few of us began talking about the mediocre food. Probably won’t be back.

We went on a Tuesday night, and there is still about a 45 min wait. We started at the bar and really likes the wine flights. What a great way to try all is the wines before doing a glass. We had the gnocchi and the ragú. Both were very good, but if you have to choose, go with the gnocchi. The view is very nice from outside and there are lots of heaters out on the patio. There were Many tables left unfilled, it appears because they either don’t have wait staff or their kitchen can’t keep up I’m assuming the latter. The bartender and waitress was great. The hostesses at the front need some coaching on customer service. We were discouraged about getting a drink at the bar before dinner and we saw them almost make a family who had pulled up a table next to some friends get up and wait on the waiting list.Parking: Parking was hard to find. We parked below on the street and walked up the stairs. Apparently there is a parking lot up top, but we didn’t see any signs.

They just opened a new location in Cottonwood. Up on the hillside with amazing views of the mountains. Food and wine was good. Service a little slow I think because of the crowds at a new location. The view is worth it!

We visited on a Sat and were told we would have over an hour wait. Some folks waited 90 minutes. There were plenty of open tables, but they were very understaffed.Pros: Great views. Really good food. We had the chicken pizza and a canoli. The staff is nice.Cons: Horrible bar service. They have one station where you can order from the bar. The bar staff refuses to acknowledge your presence for periods of 20 minutes or longer. They could at least say "we'll be right with you", "hello", "we're super busy, please be patient" . Say something to the customer for goodness sakeThey didn't even wipe down the bar after folks got up from their bar seats. We had to ask them to wipe it down. We had to ask for a glass of wine, even while seated at the bar. A while later our wine glasses were empty for 20 minutes before we had to ask the manager for a refill. Others at the bar experienced the same bar service. The manager did a great job of talking to some of the dissatisfied customers. We were told by the bartender that the cooks do not like to do substitutions or add-ons with the pizza. Wow!The bar needs an experienced bar manager to train the bartenders. The bar area can be a great money maker, especially in tips. I'll end this be reiterating the bartenders were nice and polite, they just need a little guidance.Overall, yes we'll go back in a few months after they get it all dialed in.

I can't say enough amazing things about the experience we had at this fine establishment. The scenery is breathtaking, the server, Claire, was delightful and helpful, and the food was possibly the best I've had in forever, and I don't mean that lightly. After a short 30 minute wait, my fiance and I were sat on the outside balcony where we got to take in the best view in all of Cottonwood. We shared the Le Verdure antipasti which was a delightfully light and flavorful mix of fresh roasted vegetables on a bed of spinach and kale paired with tasty sourdough made from a 100 year old starter. We shared the Tarzan and Jane flight, all of which were incredible, and finally settled on a glass of the Tarzan Red; highly recommend as it's one of their best sellers. The main course was the Mac and Cheese made with prickly pear pasta and the wood oven pizza of the day which happened to be best pineapple and bacon pizza I have ever had. All their offerings are farm-to-table and it shows. We were unfortunately too stuffed to enjoy dessert, but I have no doubt it would have been superb; maybe next time. All in all, the pricing was incredibly reasonable for the experience, service and quality of food. We will most certainly be back as soon as possible.

Get your Merkin on! I don't know what everyones complaining about, the service was wonderful! It must be the locals, I hear they don’t like Maynard much. Anyway, the food was amazing. So many issues... but the views are stunning.Upon arriving at 315p we were told we had an hour wait. Which would be ok if you were doing things correctly. However, 1.) your wait staff is standing around not busy 2.) Your establishment is less than half full - seriously look at the pictures. You are turning away customers that just want to drink or telling them an hour wait 3.) Your hostess staff is clueless on how to handle a large crowd.Unfortunately, The problem starts at the top. My suggestion, the manager is your issue and he needs immediate training. Tables should be seated in 8-15min intervals and wait staff should be informed of the upcoming push. Management should make sure the kitchen is not buried as a result.Another thing your staff had stated, they are Holding tables for guest reservation (3 hrs from now) this is not acceptable. Tables should not sit without guests.(burn & turn them) If your guests do not arrive within 15m of a reservation, then others should be seated.Final thought. I understand its your opening weekend, however even the food after waiting an hour was subpar. Chicken prickly pear bbq pizza 5/10, the chichen relleno lasagna roll 3/10 .. dry w next to no sauce, the pasta ragu 3/10 ... flavorless. The wine 10/10..I wish your business the best, however this display of incompetence is sad. Maybe you should hire a consultant to help manage how to run a normal fast pace restaurant/ wine establishment.

Homemade pasta dishes, all farm to market, and excellent wines. What’s not to like?!? The pastas were boiled perfectly. I had the bolognese and my wife had the butternut squash. Paired well with our wines, both were eyes-rolled-back amazing. Service was 5-star. And the views!! Amazing. We will definitely be back.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! My husband and I, our baby, and my parents went for lunch today for my birthday. Definitely a different atmosphere than the Scottsdale location! It’s more breathable and much less intimidating, especially for someone who can’t have alcohol. Get there early! It can get very busy and merch sells out quickly! I was worried coming with a baby and stroller may not be welcomed but staff was very friendly and accommodating. They sat us at a table where we could park it without being in the way. Food was EXCELLENT! Pizza had evenly cooked crispy crust. Pepperoni was not greasy or floppy. Charcuterie board was super fun! We enjoyed tasting and pairing all the different cheeses and meats. Bruschetta was bright and had a GREAT balsamic drizzle. Afterwards, we took the tram downhill and tried the gelato. It was ok. It’s overly sweet and felt very out of place from our restaurant experience. Both uphill and downhill parking lots are handicapped accessible. Uphill parking lot goes directly to restaurant. Downhill parking goes to the gelato window and tram to take you up to the top. Trams easily fits a large stroller or wheelchair. Absolutely STUNNING verde valley views. It’s worth the drive to Cottonwood just to have lunch or dinner here. Only suggestion would be to have parking info on the website.Dietary restrictions: Had the charcuterie board sans nuts for my nut allergy. Waiter double checked with me if pumpkin seeds were ok. It was very thoughtful and polite!Parking: 2 parking lots. One downhill and one uphill. I recommend parking uphill and then taking the tram or stairs down afterwards to the gelato if you want to try it.Kid-friendliness: OBVIOUSLY the name itself and the fact that it’s a vineyard means it’s not intended to be a real “kid friendly” type of place. It’s miles away from being an Olive Garden or bucca di beppo type of “Italian” restaurant. However, there are plenty of kid-friendly foods and seating. I brought my baby and we had a lovely time! The GM was happy to seat us where our stroller wasn’t in anyone’s way. There were other families there enjoying both inside and outside seating.

Opening weekend, wait times vary, and seating placement can be requested. It was industrial and agricultural with an emphasis on quality. Staff was handling really well. Food was delicious- ordered the meat lasagna cupcake, charcuterie board, a pizza and a couple of flights. All delicious, but wait times varied. 4 stars for service because we really wanted olives, were told the only way to obtain was via charcuterie board. When board arrived, no olives. Was told they didn't have any. They did, and later upon request, were brought out. Kinda silly miscommunication, but the charcuterie board was delicious and an adventure to eat.Vegetarian options: Availability varies. They were sold out of several items.Wheelchair accessibility: Note their tram is currently out of order, I did not see anything other than the stairs which are slightly narrow, and might be difficult/slow going for someone with breathing issues or physical impairments.

Very reasonable prices. Great views on the patio. Wines were good, we each had a flight. Didn’t try any food so cannot comment on that aspect. Staff was very friendly.

The ambiance is something out of this world!! The servers are so knowledgeable and accommodating. The menu is definitely top notch, something for everyone. The flights are a must have to expierence all the diverse nuances this vineyard has to offer. A few more standing heaters would be ideal on the patio, but hard to notice with all the good energy around you
