i ordered food on doordash and got there 15 minutes after it was ready and they threw my food away and said i took too long then as they were making it they were giving attitude to my wife and were mad they had to do their job. The food was not good either it was greasy and expensive for what i got. don’t recommend it the workers are very unprofessional and rude

I ordered two items. The counter boy seemed to be very frustrated that I was ordering more than one item. Asking me, which is it?. So i said both items. He couldn't figure out the register so He charged for a complete different item, gave me the actual item I wanted, except it wasn't supposed to have chicken and should've had a substitution. That was right after my mom got charged for the free soda during the lunch deal. Meanwhile a child was throwing bouncy balls hitting me with it 5 times, while his mom chatted with the counter boy. Last time I went there before covid I vomited for days, finally gave it another chance, never will again.

I personally would NOT even give a rating on this place in Cottonwood AZ. Used to go to on in Phoenix. Way better. The kid behind the counter was rude. Then the owner backed him up then they were rude to my friend who’s been going there longer. This was my first visit. Sad No more Business to me and Would NOT recommend them. PS the CUSTOMER is Always RIGHT. I know what I ordered. Did not receive it. RUDE😒!

We went late, the atmosphere was quiet, the service was good and the staff was friendly. My husband loved his meal, I thought mine was okay. I would call this family and I prefer street style. Prices are good and the portions were more than enough, we both had leftovers.

Consistently the best of bertos Mexican food places in town, very possibly the Verde valley.
I recommend the asada fries. They are delicious and plentiful. Slender fries cooked crispy with guacamole, sour cream and cheese. I also ordered the jalapenos and carrots on the side along with a tortilla . The salsa is at no charge, could be a bit hotter. Everything I have ever ordered there has been very tasty. The restaurant it self is no frills. Clean but, plain. Beverages consist of soda, horchata and such. Worth trying and worth returning to for the food. Dessert is churros. They are located in Cottonwood AZ. In the Food City shopping center in the very corner next to the Goodwill store. Ample parking available.

I love hole in the wall joints that have been around forever, but they’ve got to have good food to offset how dated and grungy they are. So, I was disappointed to have had the most bland, unappetizing meal of my life that I only ate 1/6 of because it was so terrible. I got the rolled tacos with rice and beans. The rice was standard, the beans were grey and flavorless, the guacamole was avocado water basically, and the rolled tacos were incredibly sad, and tasted like the cheapest, off-brand frozen ones you can buy. I took the compressed tiny tube of meat out just to eat that, and it tasted like a corn tortilla. For all I know, they actually were frozen ones. Completely disappointed, and that’s saying something given my expectations of it being at least of a “Filiberto’s” quality.
