Good lunch stop. Food was good. Staff was friendly and attentive. They definitely get busy at prime dining times. I especially liked that I could select cottage cheese as a side.
Great long-time local restaurant where locals have gathered for a great meal. Family atmosphere and you'll never leave hungry. On Sundays you may want to call ahead to get your name on the list for a table, because the after church crowd gets there and you will be waiting otherwise.
I came in this morning with a very hungry toddler. He immediately started throwing a fit and as I was on my way to take him out of the public space a fellow customer started yelling at me to get my son the h-e- double hockey sticks out. He was quite rude about it so I did exchange some quick words with him on the way to take my son to the restroom to calm him down. It’s 102° out so I wasn’t going to take him outside.
