Our first time at Tortas de Fuego. The hurache was fine, mostly the very thick tortilla. The camarones burrito filling was good, but the tortilla was too thick to enjoy. A take-home relleno was nicely filled with queso blanco, but the sauce was underwhelming. Probably will not go there again.

You can't beat $1 Taco Tuesday Yes they are small but they are so yummy and definitely recommend Not just on Tuesdays but any day of the week. You won't be displeased that's for sure.

I had the, and I mean THE very best burrito ever! Service was great! In town on vacation- would recommend to all!
My experience was not good due to our tables server. We ordered a tamale and it had a hair in it. She took it back and bought it back stating it was corn husk hair. That tamale should be exchanged for another one. I ordered green chili enchiladas and it came with sour cream and white cheese on top. It looked delicious. But due to me being on chemo my taste buds give my food a bitter taste. So I asked if they could give some without all the toppings. She made a huffing sound. But took it back and brought it back with it being topped with white cheese and lettuce. I just took those off. She never came back to see if we needed anything not even a refill on our drinks or water. She then came back while we were eating and asked us to pay our bill. So I did I also gave her a tip she didn't deserve. I asked her for boxes and containers for my salsa to go. She brought those and just walked off before I could tell her I still would like the salsa container. So I asked another server. In all this time they were giving us dirty looks. So I got up and explained to one of the servers why I needed different food due to my chemo and let him know the food has been good. He thanked me for explaining. But when things go wrong it ruins your experience. Next time I go when I'm off chemo since I like tortas I hope I have a better server that way I will enjoy it better.

Taco Tuesday and Taco Thursday can't be beat. Taco Tuesday is street tacos which are made with the smaller soft corn tortillas and are only $1 each. Taco Thursday are the regular size corn tortillas but crunchy and are only $1.50 each. I have tried several of the meat options and found them all very flavorful and, yes, some of the meat options are spicier than others, so ask your server if you can't handle much spice. The servers are very friendly and some of my friends and I have become regulars on those 2 days. I can't make tacos at home that cheap and I don't have to cook or do the cleanup! Very colorful decor. A small restaurant, so try to avoid their busiest times. Employees are all very friendly. I forgot to mention the tres leches cake--FANTASTIC!
