Ordered 3 different sandwiches and all of them were beyond our expectations! Recommend the Cisco, the Godfather, or the Carne Asada Torta, each had large portions, lots of yummy toppings, and tasted amazing. Made to order and fast. Definitely coming back here! Sorry no photos this time, but next time!

Always good food

To those of you who remember the original Verde Lea, the new owners demolished the recipes. It’s an abomination .They thought they “knew better” than a restaurant that lasted a couple decades. Food is bland and over priced. Ive given it 4 tries since new ownership. Disappointed everytime. Don’t waste your time or money. It’s no longer Verde Lea. This business will fail I have money on it. The 5 star reviews must be paid bots or people who don’t love flavor.

Nice little casual spot to get good affordable food. Jr Burger 4.99 and subs are 13.00. Ever since they changed, ownership, the food is better and the store is nice and clean

I didn't know it had new owners, how disappointing. Burger I use to get for 9.00 bucks is now 14.00. No fries. Don't think it was 1/3 of a pound. Pretty tasteless, reminded me of school cafeteria burger. I won't be back!

WOW less than a year ago you could get a good torta for $8 now its $18 and the service really multiple people standing around waiting to pay... this place has gone down hill. Needless to say I will never be returning to this place even the quality of the food has declined.

Hungry? Yes. Dinnahtime? Yes. I only got into town about 4 pm & had no idea where I'd eat. This place looked intriguing + I read Yelp reviews. Also there are reviews hanging at the front entrance from different publications, but they're pretty old, like AZ Republic one is from 2011. Since they SAID that the Carne Asada Torta was the BEST, I ordered it.

The description of this Torta included all delicious ingredients: steak, onions, beans, letttuce tomato, avocado, & mayo. Mayo?!

But they SKIMP on ingredients. The meat was there but there was only a smear of avocado on one side of bun & a smear of beans on the other side. The mayo is a nice touch. Barely any onions. Overall, we NEED more of the ingredients that are advertised to get all those flavors/textures popping. Because the Torta was lacking.
