This vendor was at the Sedona Winefest 2022. All I’ll say is, check your account and make sure you were charged correctly… good wine though…
The wine ateward was OUTSTANDING. She explained in detail the different wines. She also answered many of our questions about the area. The local wines were legit. Neat atmosphere.
Winery 101 is our first stop whenever we visit Cottonwood. They have great wine (we love their Cabernet) and a very nice owner. By the way, Sam, who manages there, is easy to talk to, attentive and a delightful hostess. It's a laid-back and unpretentious atmosphere. We recommend!
They were a lovely establishment. If you are looking for sweet wines this is definitely place for you as the other places we tried in cottonwood did not have any sweet wine.
We loved our experience here! Sarah was so great, friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. This is our favorite place in Cottonwood!
Dropped in here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Ordered a zinfandel. Was delivered in a timely manner. The absolute lightest zinfandel I have ever seen and the fruitiest, sweetest zin ever. Not my taste at all.I take it to the counter and ask the employee if this is the correct wine. She assures me that it is. I tell her that it tastes horrible to me. She said sorry we don't make dark red wines.I ask about other wines that appear to be much darker and look like they will meet my tastes better. She says they have Super Tuscan and Cab Sauv. She does not offer to replace the Zin. Turns around and walks off.Buyer and shopper beware, for me and mine we shall not be back.P. S. The music was great!
Went up to Cottonwood to get out of town for the day. My husband and I stopped in here for a wine tasting and had a great time. The wine was great, we ended up taking a few bottles home. The server was hilarious and really made the trip for us.
This is the second time we've visited Winery 101 with a group of 8 after being rejected by the other more well known wineries in Cottonwood because our group was too large for their capacity limits (many of the other wineries had very restrictive capacity limits, even in June after Covid requirements were lifted). Remembering the great time we had there last fall, we happily walked in this unassuming winery on Main street. Again, it felt like home. Comfy seating, wonderful wines and very friendly staff. This time we were treated to live music which was such a treat! Thanks for the warm welcome, Winery 101. Your wines, service and establishment were all lovely!
The Winery 101 tasting room in Cottonwood was one of several our small group visited recently during a trip to Cottonwood. Tasting rooms are popular and growing in number as wineries attempt to "bring the winery to the customer". The atmosphere is cool, relaxing and the service was friendly. We had a flight of reds and our server described each as we proceeded through the tasting. Winery 101 wines are flavorful, have a good bouquet and body. Worth you time to stop in when you're in Cottonwood.
Fun spot for a wine tasting. In the heart of old town Cottonwood. This was included in our sip and stay package with The Tavern hotel which I highly recommend.

Ask for Vincent.
My wife and I spent a night in Cottonwood last week and were fortunate enough to walk into Winery 101 where Vince prepping for close. He happily stopped what he was doing and let us down a great wine tasting. All of the choices were great, including the wine he helped blend. Hoping we can one day find your wines in store here in Tennessee. Thanks again Vince!
Great pit stop, for a refreshing taste of wines! Great host Vince, very friendly and knew his product! Wine is top shelf!!
Great wine and really nice service!
We liked the wine but it was a bit fruit forward (jammy) as we started the wine flight of reds. They did get a bit dryer as we worked to the 4th and 5th one. Very nice and knowledgeable pourer. Ask about how they got the name...it’s not what you would ever guess and it’s NOT about Highway 101 in CA !
