We had the best time at MJ's on a Saturday evening. Our bartender, Lindsey, was incredibly friendly, funny, and super sweet. She made us feel like locals who belonged there and attended to our every need. The drinks were perfect, and the vibe was fun, easygoing, and the perfect amount of quirky. Lindsey's husband played his guitar and sang for us long after his gig was done just because we asked and because he and Lindsey are so darn nice. When we stopped for breakfast the next morning, Lindsey was just as amazing as the night before, and my omelet and potatoes were delicious. Thank you, MJ's and Lindsey (and Lindsey's husband, lol) for such a great experience! We'll be back!

We got jalapeno poppers, sweet chili wings, and the Philly cheese steak.
The poppers were fantastic! The wings were delicious and probably the best sweet chili sauce I've had. The Philly steak was the best I have ever had. The bread had a garlic butter on it that was absolutely delicious.

It's always a nice drive up the mountain into Crown King. We typically stop at MJs Cafe. MJ has a geat menu, burgers, fries, wraps, hot sandwiches, and the food is always phenomena! I normally get the reuben sandwich with fries, and it's always so on point. We've traveled up to Crown King in the snow as well, and it's always nice to sit at MJs Cafe with a hot sandwich and hot chocolate just enjoying the scenery outside. The atmosphere is very old school and her place is very charming. It's good to know that you will see a lot of people on their ATVs or side-by-side. You also get a lot of bikers up there. If you can get up the mountain, I recommend you try this place out at least once!

If you haven't had breakfast at MJ'S, you should. The chicken fried steak and eggs are the best! Oh and all the rest is great food too, like pulled pork and pasta salad just to mention some of my favorites.

Went offroading with our Tacoma group, there were probably about 8-10 trucks; all coupled up and a few of us had our dogs and kids with us. The staff was super sweet and friendly. Although overwhelmed from their normal lunch rush, plus getting about 20 people all at once, they handed it with ease. Food and drinks were great. They also were hosting some sort of end of summer pool party that was super cute!.. it was mid/end July when we visited ◡̈

After driving some beat up roads in our 4x4 Jeep Wrangler, we were sooooo happy to get to Crown King. We took the easiest route to get here and the roads were like driving on a wash board! MJ's is a small place with very limited outdoor seating. Service was very friendly as were the people there. We just ordered your normal bar food (nothing great about bar food). The beer on tap was really good because of the frosted mugs!
