Amazing service and great hospitality. Service was the best ever. Had some amazing tequila shots and a reuben sandwich for lunch, with the best sauerkraut I've ever tasted in my life. The bread for the reuben sandwich was amazing. Got to stop here. Also had my dog on the patio, and they brought out water for him.

First time visiting Crown King and stopped into The Mill for lunch, and it did not disappoint. I had a prime rib sandwich and my husband had a burger, both were very tasty and the bread was amazing. The place was also super neat with a lot of old equipment to check out. We sat outside and enjoyed the view.

Absolutely beautiful!
The Mill in Crown King, Arizona is an absolute gem! Mike, the owner, was awesome! He was so accommodating and kind. We’re vegan, and he made sure we had something delicious to enjoy. He personally made us an amazing veggie sandwich! You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and is passionate about food. The patio is so clean and beautifully decorated with the sound of the humming birds and trees flowing in the wind. The location, atmosphere, and service are all 10/10. Always recommend! Dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and just a beautiful spot with great views. A for sure stop everytime we visit CK!

Took a dirt biking trip out to crown king! Once there we made it to the saloon . Matt and his wife greeted us at the door with some of the best hospitality I’ve ever came across!
We looked around for a bit at all the history embedded into the restaurant , and after that ordered some burgers! That’s the best burger I’ve had in a long time the $15 price tag for the meal is so worth it!!
Matt if you see this , we all had a really great time at your restaurant, also glad we could help with the soda machine malfunction!

Excellent lunch at The Mill. Wanted to bring my dog with us out on the drive to Crown King. Sent a message to the restaurant and received a text response that dogs are absolutely welcome on the outdoor patio. When we arrived, the owner greeted us and gave us the rundown on the ordering process and their wholesome ingredients. While eating, the owner checked in on us, which lead to an hour long conversation. He had so many interesting stories and facts to tell. He was especially interested in my daughter’s field of work, anthropology. He left to see if the kitchen needed help, then returned with a large slice of chocolate cake. It was a very kind offering for Father’s Day. We then talked for another 45 minutes. And, of course…the food was great. Had a prime rib burger on sourdough and fries cooked in tallow. Cool rustic building with comfortable outdoor seating. At the very end, he gave my dog and crunchy piece of bacon. I highly recommend the drive to Crown King and dinning at The Mill
Thank you Mike and Sam
We had a great visit to The Mill Restaurant in Crown King! The food is made from scratch, even the bread, which is always a nice touch. We ordered burgers and fries, which were solid and satisfying. The cheesecake for desert was a standout: rich, creamy, and beautifully presented with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
What really made this place special were the details and the atmosphere. We sat outside, surrounded by the pines, which made for a peaceful and scenic dining experience. The patio area is lined with tons of hummingbird feeders, attracting a delightful flurry of hummingbirds and even a striking red-headed woodpecker! The inside of the restaurant is cozy and full of charm, decorated with vintage and antique items that give it a warm, nostalgic feel.
The owners were incredibly friendly and took the time to share the fascinating history of the ore mill and the old machinery used to process and transport ore down the mountain. It was clear they take pride in both the food and the legacy of the place.
All in all, The Mill offers a unique, welcoming experience and is definitely worth a stop if you make the drive up to Crown King.
Okay guys, yes it’s a hike up here to Crown King and The Mill is pretty much it lol. I was expecting “bar food”. Yes, the menu isn’t extensive….burger, Philly cheese, chili, chili dog, tacos tenders, Ruben but Omg! I had the burger with shoestring fries…..delicious because they use tallow and NO vegetable oils and all from scratch. My husband had the chili dog. I have to say that was the most amazing chili dog I’ve ever seen. He got the fried corn side….wow! All in all a super roll back in time, vintage place with super nice people. Yes, they have alcohol lol. It’s worth the 25 mile dirt road drive 😆.
Hard to saying anything except just AMAZING!! Such a cool place. Great food. Great service. The owners are so friendly and social
the restaurant itself is like a mining museum. the owners are very friendly and the food was very good.
