Ordered fajitas. The tortillas were homemade and delicious. Unfortunately, the fajita meat was edible but I could have made better fajitas at home...

This place was disgusting do not go here the chip bowl had built up Grease and left my fingers sticky. The staff was rude and unatentiveThe old lady was creepy and wouldn't take my complaints seriously once we showed her how bad the food was and showed that we could not even finish a second bite, she continued to disregard the complaints we had and accused us of just trying to not pay for the food. She also stated that we were the first to ever complain about the food even while looking at the other bad reviews when she stated this. The Alamo burger looked like fake play doh meat ,I was terrified to even eat it, and had seemed like mystery meat, when I confronted the old lady from the kitchen she told me the meat was "grade A top cut sirloin and ground Angus beef" two different things!!! The meat was also very watery when you squeezed it)And the Carne asada burrito had a strong oder, smelling like dirty feet. My family and I also heard the microwave going off nonstop the whole time they were preparing our orders. My family and I all left with severe stomach problems after going here. If 0 stars was an option I would select it! DO NOT EAT HERE!
After receiving the coffee I saw, not one, but two dead mosquitoes in my coffee cup. In addition to it, the service wasn't good, so we decide to cancel the order and go elsewhere.Inside the restaurant did look clean.
So very friendly! I highly recommend them.
I was the only patron, early Saturday evening, which seemed fine by the staff, as the place closes at 7. I ordered Sonoran enchiladas, which are lightly fried maza harina, mixed with onions and cheese, then topped with red enchilada sauce and more grated queso blanco. The two young men on staff were surprised that a gringo would know this, and very appreciative. The chef-owner came out of the kitchen and thanked me for being there. Oh, yes, the meal was very well made.

Staff is very friendly; food was great as it was reminiscent of home style cooking, not processed or frozen. Love the margaritas, these are the real deal! But the highlight were their signature Micheladas, made w/ all the works!!!
Staff is friendly... The steak and margaritas are ok to good. But everything else we have tried on the menu is like going to a friend's house and their mom is a really bad cook. Shrimp cocktail was mainly water, Alamo burger taste like cheap reprocessed hotdog, fajitas were sad and tasted like the boiled leftover meat. Every one that ate with us had bad diarrhea after eating here, thought it might be a fluke and we came back a couple more times to try other items and were were equally disappointed and got equally as sick. Not sure how you can mess up Mexican food this close to border. But if you are constipated and enjoy unseasoned/bland boiled food that resembles Mexican cuisine give this place a try.
I didn't go there, and haven't been there in years. I just passed right by it. Don't be so nosy???
It's a nice little place where you can get a quick bite to eat. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner plates. Not that expensive. When I visited the restaurant, the didn't have the AC on and the restaurant was warm. Friendly staff.
The server and waitress were very nice. The food is very delicious. Spicy if you ask but I can't do spicy. Authentic Mexican food. I belive its family run. If you are in the neighborhood and looking for great place to stop in. Mom and pop shops in the area are few and far between. Let's try and save all these we can.Thank yall for serving our family and staying open!!
