Top notch restaurant. I almost don't want to leave this review, because I'd prefer it remain a bit of a secret.
The prices were much more pre Covid style, as we had the special of the day, Sonoran enchiladas w rice and beans, including drink, for $10 each! We left for $20 plus a nice tip (they pay the tax if you pay cash!)
The food was delicious, real classic Sororan Mexican food. The ginger tea was refreshing. There were limited English speakers, but you don't need to know Spanish. The atmosphere is cozy, with only maybe a dozen tables.
If you go there, you will love it as much as I did. Please though... keep the secret better than I did!

I don’t know why others were raving about this place. Small portions, bland food. I wish someone had an honest review on here so I would’t have wasted my time here.
Our party of 5 were all dissatisfied with their meals- and we are not picky eaters.
I asked for the most authentic item in the menu and the waitress suggested a sandwich. Which was not authentic for a Mexican restaurant. She offered fries or fruit. I asked if the fries were good, she didn’t know. I chose fruit, which came from a can. :-\
My kids small bean only burrito was $4.50 on the menu. They charged me $8.83 for it.

I went there today with some friends who had enjoyed a meal there before. This this they had no green chili. The meat was dry and they added 5$ to each plate of food for rice and beans which they said was included when we asked. There was no flavor to the rice and beans. Very disappointing

The food was good, the service could have been a little better, only two table occupied, the waitress was in back, We had to call her to serve more coffee.

Really delicious Mexican food! Carne asada was very tasty. Everything was freshly prepared for us. We were a large party and arrived 1 hour before closing, and they accommodated us well. Highly recommend.

Talk about a hidden gem!I take a trip from Bisbee to Douglas once in a great while and dont isually stop and eat. Today I was with the wife and daughter and decided to give this place a try. We pulled up and I immediately thought the worst.....look at pic. Once inside, it was small to say the least but tastefully done with comfortable booths and tables. Our server was quick and took our order for drinks and food. She then brought over a crisp flour tortilla with refried beans on top. Green and red sauce as well. This was a nice change from your typical basket of chips.I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito. My wife ordered the Douglas Burrito. My daughter also ordered the Carne Asada Burrito and the Tortilla Soup.Everything was excellent and large portions. Everything tasted great and it was well done. The red and green sauce wasnt to hot but just spicy enough to leave a little heat on your tongue.I will

Heading through town on a motorcycle trip and some locals said this was the best breakfast in town, THEY WERE RIGHT! This is some of the best menudo I have ever had! 10$ and I’m stuffed! If I ever come back down this way this is a must stop!
