Some friends and I attended a Kentucky Derby party at the River Front Lounge last Saturday. It was so much fun! Some of the patrons and the owner, Shawna, made delicious deviled eggs, pasta salad and other dishes to share. We enjoyed a mint julep with fresh mint leaves. Dropped into this bar during an overnight stay at the hotel next door. Lovely hosts (we were not only out-of-towners but out of continent-ers and were made really welcome) and delicious free Easter Sunday buffet of baked ham was a really nice touch. Thanks!
Stopped in on our way from Payson, heading up Morenci to hit the devil's highway the next day. Only there for about an hour in the late afternoon. Everyone there was super friendly and the drinks were cold and good.
